The Essentials • Compiles and processes payroll data such as timesheets, additional pay requests, garnishments, direct deposit, and tax withholding changes in order to ensure accurate payment to employees. • Reviews and balances weekly time files and computes and corrects errors to ensure the accuracy of wages computed. • Records data concerning transfer of employees between departments and locations. • Prepares periodic reports of earnings, taxes, and deductions. • Researches and resolves payroll-related questions and issues. • Process terminations in accordance with state regulations; Prepares and issues payments for missing and termination pay.
