ServSafe® Manager Required We are looking for an experienced, skilled assistant manager to help run the store efficiently. In addition, a potential candidate will create positive memories for all who touch DQ. The manager will assist the General Managers (GMs) in executing specific aspects of the restaurant operations, product production, inventory, personnel, and sales. In addition, the candidate will help set high standards and create an excellent environment for the team to work. Responsibilities: • Lift 50 pounds. • Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested by the GM. Functions: Operations • Help manage the entire restaurant operation during scheduled shifts. Strive to achieve operational levels that meet or exceed our fans' expectations for quality, service, and atmosphere, creating value through an excellent experience. • Accurately complete designated duties such as inventory control, ordering of products, and cash control. Training • Ensure that shift leads and crew are trained and thoroughly knowledgeable on PRIDE systems and routines, product recipes, food safety practices, and restaurant safety practices. • Ensure that all PRIDE systems and routines are incorporated into the restaurant's day-to-day operations, setting each scheduled shift up for success. Fan Service • Ensure that Fan service in all areas meets or exceeds company standards. • Establish standards for the management team and crew to handle customer concerns. • Ensure that customer complaints are promptly and appropriately addressed to resolve the problem and that each dissatisfied customer becomes a returning Fan. • Understand the importance of service speed and resolving workflow bottlenecks. • Build relationships with the customer base. Team Member Leadership • Accomplish store objectives by assisting the GM with hiring, training, coaching, and developing shift leads and crew members to build a highly skilled and productive team. • Assist the GM with thorough training and new-hire orientations; communicate job expectations; and monitor each employee's and manager's performance and contributions. Provide ongoing and helpful feedback against expectations. • Role model and enforce policies and procedures. • Maintain a positive working relationship with all restaurant staff to foster a cooperative, pleasant working climate that maximizes employee morale, productivity, and efficiency. Health and Safety Standards • Assist the GM with ensuring that Food Safety is the top training priority in-store operations. Ensure that proper handwashing, product rotation procedures, and temperature logging are visible and active behaviors. Serve as a role model and enforce safe food-handling practices. • Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy facility environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures; complying with health and legal regulations; and maintaining security systems and routines. Qualifications: Experience Needed • ServSafe Manager Certification • Minimum 1-3 years of restaurant leadership experience required. Previous quick service restaurant experience strongly preferred. • A High School diploma or equivalent is required. • The successful candidate should have strong knowledge and application of safe food handling practices. Skills/Competencies Needed • Customer focus - strong hospitality and customer service skills, enjoys engaging with customers. • Trainer and Coach - The ideal candidate should be able to serve as a strong trainer or coach on restaurant routines and systems, and on how to interact with customers effectively and with each other. • Management skills: excellent track record of coaching and training employees, and of resolving employee relations issues effectively. Ability to motivate a strong team and set up an upbeat store environment. • Organization and goal focus - must be highly organized and detail-oriented with the capability to oversee many aspects of the business and multiple areas simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. • Must be able to actively work to achieve and exceed set goals for the business. • Proficiency with POS systems is a bonus. • Flexibility and adaptability - the candidate will require a willingness to follow directions and a commitment to meet DQ standards in all they do. • Integrity - does the right thing even when no one is looking. Managing sourcing, supplier relationships, and supply chain continuity for foodservice markets in Latin America. | Experience in foodservice supply chain, supplier management, bilingual in English and Spanish, and ability to travel. | Job Description: • Provides strategic and operational sourcing management for LA&C markets, (Mexico and selected emerging markets in Latin America). • Responsible for supplier identification, on-going supplier management, developing and executing sourcing strategies that ensure a reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality supply of food, packaging, and indirect materials to support restaurant operations, growth, and innovation. • Partners closely with cross-functional teams including Quality (FSQR), Marketing, Finance, Operations, Distribution, Franchisees, and Suppliers to deliver flawless execution of core menu items, Limited Time Offers (LTOs), and new market or restaurant openings. • Plays a critical role in supplier governance, risk management, cost optimization, and supply continuity within a fast-paced QSR environment. • Works in close coordination with the Distribution Manager to ensure end-to-end supply chain continuity with the 3 PL partner while maintaining clear ownership of sourcing, supplier strategy, and commercial performance. Requirements: • University or bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in lieu of degree • Must have 6 plus years of prior experience in foodservice sourcing and supply chain • Experience working within a franchisor organization, preferably a QSR brand (imports/exports knowledge is a plus) • Knowledge and familiarity with the foodservice supply industry • Proficient in written and conversational fluency in both English and Spanish • Ability to travel up to 20% of time and to work when needed in the evenings and at weekends, with ability to gain visas to travel to a variety of countries • Relationship building skills with the ability to create mutually beneficial relationships with and provide excellent customer service to both internal and external clients • Written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate Supply Chain concepts to a variety of audiences • Proficient in Microsoft Office • Ability to manage efficient execution of sourcing and supply functions, working with both suppliers and franchisees • Well organized with a high attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects and requests simultaneously, within an intense, deadline-driven environment. • Strong analytical skills. • Ability to collaborate in a team environment.
