Cynet Health is looking for a Benefits Specialist to administer our employee benefits programs and leave policies, ensuring that we maintain an employee-oriented, high-performance culture. About the Role: The ideal candidate will possess experience in administering and managing a comprehensive suite of benefits, including health, dental, vision, and retirement plans, as well as various leave of absence programs, such as FMLA, short-term disability, and personal leave. What will you be doing day to day? Primary responsibilities include all benefits and leave administration functions. Administer benefits programs including, but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, and disability insurance, open enrollment, processing new hires/changes/QLEs and reconciliations. Support coordination of leave programs across multiple states such as short and long term disability, FMLA, Workers Comp, Military, parental and other leaves of absence and state sick pay. Provide guidance and support to employees regarding benefit options, plan changes, claims issues, and eligibility. Assist in resolving benefit coverage issues with providers as needed. Assist with reviewing leave and benefit records for accuracy and compliance. Maintain and audit HRIS systems for accuracy in benefits enrollment, deductions, and eligibility tracking. Support compliance with federal and state laws including ACA, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, and state-specific leave laws. Perform other related duties as assigned. Your Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred (Associate’s degree or equivalent experience may be considered) 2+ years of experience in employee benefits administration or related HR role Familiarity with benefits platforms, HRIS systems, and leave management tools Understanding of relevant compliance requirements (e.g., ACA, FMLA, COBRA, HIPAA) Strong customer service and communication skills to assist employees with benefits inquiries. Your Skills: Strong work ethic, discipline, and performance record Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, confidentiality, and good judgment Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace or related software Solid understanding of health, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement benefit programs Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing sensitive employee data Excellent communication skills to explain benefit programs and resolve employee issues Skilled in using Microsoft Excel and HR-related reporting tools for audits and data tracking. About the Role: The Assistant Manager of Credentialing (AMC) supports the credentialing process, working under the Direct Supervision of the Associate Director of Credentialing and will report directly to the Associate Director of Credentialing. The Assistant Manager of Credentialing (AMC) will work closely with all members of the credentialing team to provide comprehensive support services to the credentialing team and the candidate. In addition, the AMC will partner in collaboration with Cynet Operational Team(s) in promoting compliant, efficient, and timely onboarding and credentialing processes while promoting positive outcomes. The Assistant Manager of Credentialing (AMC) is the Credentialing Liaison between Cynet Credentialing team and the Client(s) Credentialing Department ensuring efficient, professional, and timely client communications regarding Cynet candidates in the credentialing process to include Client / Vendor Credentialing Portal Management. The AMC will ensure compliance is maintained in accordance with client contract requirements, The Joint Commission Standards, as well as state and/or federal regulations. What will you be doing day to day? • Acting as Primary point of contact with Client Credentialing Partners, to include participation in Client Credentialing/Compliance Meetings as applicable • Communicate with Candidates, Vendors, and Clients as applicable to support the credentialing process. • Acts as the urgent escalation point related to candidate credentialing concerns. • Review and Verification of licensing and other essential credentials as applicable and ensures escalation per Cynet Policy regarding adverse credentialing outcomes to include Background Hits, Adverse Drug Screens, Licensure/Certification Hits, Employment/Education Verification, Suspected Fraudulent documents, etc. • Supporting the credentialing processes and mitigating challenges that may lead to negative outcomes such as non-compliance, cancellations, and/or pushed starts. May assist with problematic credentialing tasks such as locating and/or contacting an Occupational Health vendor (such as a lab/clinic). • Provides Educational support to the Credentialing Team. Responsible for facilitating ongoing training and updates regarding client requirements to include training on client credentialing platforms, Cynet policies/processes, and The Joint commission Standards while maintaining Cynet Education database. • Project management and/or administrative support for special projects as assigned. • The AMC may provide approval for credentialing exceptions and conditional clearance as applicable within Cynet Credentialing Policy Guidelines, to include. • Maintains a high level of confidentiality to include protecting candidate PHI/PII in compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations to include adherence to HIPAA Standards. • Promotes Positive Change Management • Other duties as assigned Experience: • Required minimum of 2 years’ experience in Healthcare Staffing credentialing and/or compliance role • Knowledgeable of The Joint Commission Standards • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field such as Healthcare and/or Information Management is preferred.
