About CYB Human Resources CYB Human Resources is a national HR consulting firm supporting small to mid-sized businesses across the U.S. We act as our clients’ outsourced HR department, providing compliant, practical, and people-first HR guidance. As we continue to grow, we are strengthening our internal HR operations structure to support our consultants, HR assistants, and leadership team. This role is a critical part of that structure and is designed to reduce HR Consultant leadership involvement in day-to-day execution while maintaining high-quality HR support for clients. Why This Role Matters at CYB This role exists to create operational relief and leverage - ensuring HR work is handled confidently, investigations are managed correctly, and leadership is no longer the bottleneck for day-to-day execution. Position Summary The HR Operations & Investigations Manager is a hands-on execution and oversight role responsible for managing internal HR workflows, overseeing investigations and employee relations matters, and serving as a key escalation point for HR Assistants. This role is accountable for the execution and completion of client HR deliverables, ensuring day-to-day client issues are resolved efficiently and in alignment with CYB standards, with HR Consultants and leadership engaged only for high-risk or strategic escalations. This role includes limited client-facing interaction related to investigations, complaints, and escalations, but does not involve completely owning client relationships, leading recurring client meetings, or setting an entire HR strategy. This position exists to absorb operational HR work, manage investigations, and prepare CYB HR Consultant and leadership with clear summaries and recommendations, allowing CYB leadership to focus on strategy, business development, and high-level client relationships. Key Responsibilities HR Operations & Internal Oversight • Oversee day-to-day HR execution across multiple client accounts • Review and approve HR work prepared by HR Assistants before it is client-facing • Serve as the first escalation point for HR Assistants on: • * Employee relations questions • Documentation and compliance concerns • Investigation intake and next steps • Ensure timely, accurate, and professional HR responses Investigations & Employee Relations Support (Limited Client-Facing) • Take escalated client calls related to complaints, hotline issues, and investigations (HR Assistants take the initial calls and provide initial triage packets for initial review) • Coordinate and oversee investigations, including: • * Assigning fact-gathering tasks to HR Assistants • Reviewing notes, timelines, and documentation • Ensuring consistency, neutrality, and compliance in investigative steps • Identify and immediately escalate high-risk matters (including harassment, discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour issues, or threats of litigation) to CYB leadership and external counsel in accordance with CYB protocols • Prepare alongside the HR Assistants clear investigation summaries outlining: • * Allegations and key facts • Risk considerations • Documentation status • Participate in occasional Zoom client meetings (investigations with employees, briefing owners or leadership) to review investigation findings and process • Escalate investigations to CYB HR Consultants and leadership with recommendations;
