This role involves monitoring suppliers, performing audits, managing nonconformances, and supporting supplier development initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Supplier Monitoring: Conduct oversight and product inspections for various electrical components including MCC, switchgear, transformers, UPS, batteries, cables, E-houses, and bus ducting. Inspection types include visual, dimensional, welding, coating, traceability, quality records, and Functional Acceptance Testing (FAT). Supplier Audit Program: Execute routine supplier audits according to risk categorization and audit schedules, in compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards. Nonconformance Management: Identify, document, and contain nonconformances, and follow up with corrective actions as required. Supplier Development: Support evaluation and development of suppliers through quality analysis, root cause investigation, and implementation of improvement programs. Reporting & Controls: Generate periodic quality performance reports and ensure effective improvement actions are implemented. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent experience). Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in supplier quality management, quality engineering, or related field in MV and LV electrical systems and components. Proven experience with supplier evaluation, product/process qualification, and technical supplier development. Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA, IEEE, UL, and IEC standards. Extensive auditing experience; ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification preferred. Strong communication skills and ability to work with a global supplier base. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 35%). Must have or be able to obtain a passport.
