Compensation$55K - 120K a year

Maintain and develop core open-source framework capabilities, manage contributor experience, and ensure engineering quality through testing and documentation. | Strong Python engineering background with experience in shipping library or framework code and maintaining open-source projects, familiarity with modern Python toolchain, and knowledge of LLMs and agentic concepts. | About CrewAI CrewAI is the leading framework and enterprise platform for building and orchestrating multi-agent AI systems. The open-source framework is a lean, fast Python library that has grown to 53k+ GitHub stars, 7.4k+ forks, and 100k+ developers certified through our community courses. It is rapidly becoming the standard for production-grade agentic automation powering hundreds of millions of agentic executions a month. This role is about building that framework in the open. The Role You'll be a core maintainer of the CrewAI open-source framework: the Crews and Flows APIs that hundreds of thousands of developers build on. This is engineering done in public. Your design decisions, code reviews, and API choices are visible to a large community and ripple out to everyone building on the platform. You'll balance velocity with the long-term stewardship a widely adopted open-source project demands, and you'll treat developer experience as a first-class product. What You'll Do Design, build, and maintain core framework capabilities: agent orchestration, agent harness, Flows, task execution, tools, memory, MCP, A2A, and the public APIs developers depend on. Own the contributor experience: triage and review community PRs and issues, mentor contributors, and keep the bar high without killing momentum. Make and document API and DX decisions with backward compatibility and migration paths in mind. Changes here affect a very large installed base. Uphold engineering quality in the open: clean, well-tested Python, strong typing, and green CI on every change. Write and improve documentation, examples, and guides that help developers succeed quickly. Partner with runtime and platform engineers to keep the OSS-to-enterprise boundary coherent, and reconcile versioning so framework changes do not break downstream enterprise consumers. Engage the community directly through GitHub Discussions, forums, Discord, and other channels, turning real usage and feedback into roadmap signal. What We're Looking For Strong Python engineering background, with a track record of shipping and maintaining library or framework code, not just application code. Genuine care for API design and developer experience. You've felt the difference between an API that's pleasant and one that isn't, and you can articulate why. Experience contributing to or maintaining open-source projects: reviewing external PRs, managing issue backlogs, and communicating decisions in public. Familiarity with the modern Python toolchain: uv, pytest, type hints, pre-commit, and well-tested code. Working knowledge of LLMs and agent concepts, or the appetite and ability to come up to speed fast. Comfort with the pace, ambiguity, and public feedback loops of an early-stage, high-growth environment.

Compensation$70K - 120K a year

Develop full-stack features for AI agent management platform including database models, APIs, and frontend interfaces. | Strong full-stack experience with frontend bias using React, TypeScript, and Ruby on Rails, with interest in UX and AI/LLM workflows. | About CrewAI CrewAI is the leading framework and enterprise platform for building and orchestrating multi-agent AI systems, powering 300M+ agent executions per month across thousands of companies. The Agent Management Platform is our control plane for deploying, monitoring, governing, and scaling agents in production. The Role You'll build the CrewAI Agent Management Platform: the web product where teams create, deploy, monitor, govern, and manage agentic automations in production. This is a full-stack product engineering role with a strong frontend bias. You'll work across Rails, React, TypeScript, Hotwire, background jobs, APIs, and product workflows that make complex AI infrastructure feel understandable and usable. What You'll Do Build user-facing platform experiences across Studio, deployments, observability, traces, human feedback, onboarding, integrations, settings, and admin surfaces. Ship polished frontend work in React/TypeScript, Vite, Tailwind, Hotwire, Stimulus, and Rails views/components. Own full-stack features from database models and service objects through controllers, jobs, APIs, and UI. Design workflows for complex agent management concepts: orgs, permissions, auth, environment variables, LLM connections, deployment status, logs, traces, secrets, tools, and human-in-the-loop review. Integrate with external systems like WorkOS/Auth0/Okta/Keycloak/Entra, GitHub, Slack, HubSpot, Salesforce, Stripe, cloud services, and LLM providers. Write high-quality tests across Rails and frontend code: Minitest/RSpec, system tests, Vitest, and component-level tests. Partner with runtime and open-source engineers to make CrewAI's underlying execution model visible, debuggable, and usable in the platform. What We're Looking For Strong full-stack product engineering experience, ideally in a B2B platform product with complex workflows. Excellent frontend judgment: React, TypeScript, component design, state management, forms, data-heavy screens, and interaction details. Solid backend ability with Ruby/Rails or a comparable MVC/web framework. You can model data, write service code, debug jobs, and design APIs. Comfort working with PostgreSQL, background jobs, caching/state, external APIs, and production-facing product behavior. Taste for clear UX around technically complex systems. You can make deployment state, errors, permissions, traces, and runtime behavior understandable. Strong testing habits and comfort shipping in a fast-moving codebase. Enough AI/LLM curiosity to understand agents, workflows, tools, traces, and human-in-the-loop product needs. Bonus Experience with developer tools, workflow builders, observability products, infrastructure dashboards, or AI/agent platforms. Rails, Hotwire, ViewComponent, Tailwind, Vite, or React Query experience. Experience with auth/SSO, integrations, secrets, billing, usage, or admin tooling. Design sensibility: you can partner well with design, but do not need every interaction handed to you pixel by pixel.

Senior Support Engineer

CrewAIAnywhereFull-time
View Job
Compensation$70K - 120K a year

Resolve complex enterprise support issues end-to-end and define support processes including SLAs and escalations. | 5+ years in technical support with Python proficiency and experience owning support processes, familiarity with LLMs or developer tools. | About CrewAI CrewAI is the leading framework and enterprise platform for building and orchestrating multi-agent AI systems, powering 300M+ agent executions per month across thousands of companies and a large open-source community. As we scale, great technical support is what keeps enterprise customers successful and keeps our engineers focused on building. This role owns that. The Role You're the senior technical anchor for enterprise support: the person who sets the standard for how we diagnose, resolve, and learn from customer issues, and who builds the process the function runs on. You'll work the hardest problems directly and define how support operates: triage, severity, escalation, and the feedback loop into product and engineering. You are not a proxy that forwards messages, but someone who deeply understands the product and resolves issues end-to-end. Our focus right now is enterprise support. You'll be the senior technical line for our enterprise customers, reproducing and diagnosing problems, resolving what you can, and handing off what you can't with the full context engineering needs. As the most experienced person in the seat, you'll own the SLAs, severity model, and escalation paths the team operates on, and raise the technical quality of support across the board. This role exists to make enterprise support excellent and to build the foundation it scales on. We're looking for someone who will set the technical bar, protect engineering's focus by filtering and enriching what reaches them, and build a customer experience that feels structured, fast, and trustworthy. What You'll Do Be the senior technical point of contact for enterprise customers, owning the hardest issues end-to-end and responding with clarity and speed. Deeply use and know the product: Crews, Flows, the Control Plane well enough to resolve the majority of issues without escalating, and to spot bugs customers haven't even reported. Reproduce, diagnose, and triage technical issues: read logs and traces, isolate root cause, and resolve directly where possible. Own clean handoffs to engineering: when something must escalate, file a well-defined ticket with reproduction steps, context, and severity. Keep the handoff between the support and engineering systems coherent so engineers aren't re-reading threads to figure out what's being asked. Define and own support SLAs, severity levels, and escalation paths so the loudest customer doesn't automatically become the highest priority — and continuously improve them. Build and maintain the knowledge base, FAQs, and troubleshooting docs, and improve product docs where they make false assumptions about customer setup. Set up structured customer onboarding so new enterprise users get to value quickly. Close the loop: synthesize recurring issues and feedback into clear signal for product and engineering, and help set the direction support takes as it grows. What We're Looking For 5+ years in technical support, developer support, solutions, or a similar customer-facing technical role, including time as a senior or anchor on the team. Genuinely technical: comfortable reading logs, stack traces, and API responses; able to navigate Python and the command line; can reason about how a distributed system fails. You don't need to ship production features, but you need to hold a credible technical conversation with both developers and our own engineers. Familiarity with LLMs, agents, or developer tools, or the ability to ramp quickly and use the product daily. Strong written communication: you can explain a fix clearly and write a ticket an engineer can act on immediately. Process ownership: you've defined triage rules, SLAs, severity models, or escalation paths before, not just followed them, and you can show how it raised the quality of support. Empathetic, patient, and energized by helping people succeed; comfortable working independently and setting your own direction in a fast-paced remote startup. Bonus: experience with support/issue tooling (ticketing systems, Linear, or similar); prior experience supporting an open-source developer community; experience standing up or overhauling a support function.
