Complete Description: Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Database Infrastructure engineer to design, maintain, and optimize our core database environments. In this role, you will be the guardian of our data ecosystem, focusing heavily on automation, scheduling management, and infrastructure scaling. You will leverage scripting languages to automate routine maintenance, monitor system health, and orchestrate complex database jobs to ensure maximum uptime and peak performance. Core Responsibilities Infrastructure Management: Design, configure, provision, and manage hardware and software configurations (Azure Cloud services and Windows Servers). Ensure compliance with data governance and State data privacy regulations and manage user permissions. Automated Job Management: Design, implement, and monitor automated database jobs, maintenance tasks, and ETL workflows. Scripting & Automation: Write and maintain robust scripts (SSIS, PowerShell, etc.) to automate routine DBA tasks, deployments, backups, and health checks. Performance Tuning: Proactively monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, optimize queries, and manage indexing strategies. Ability to resolve hardware, software and network issues. High Availability & DR: Maintain and test robust disaster recovery (DR) strategies, and failover testing. Provide 24/7 support for mission-critical systems as needed. Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams: Support application development and data integration through application environment configuration, IIS administration, and implementation of security and performance best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications: Education: A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field Database Platforms: Strong expertise in managing enterprise systems (e.g., MS SQL Server, Windows Server, and Azure Cloud environment). Scripting Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of scripting languages like PowerShell and SSIS for automation. Infrastructure Concept: Solid understanding of storage systems, network architecture, and cloud infrastructure (i.e. Azure). Problem Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills under pressure for critical production incidents. Certifications in relevant database technologies (e.g., Azure Database Administrator). Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate, Microsoft SQL Server Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps processes and .NET applications. Experience with PowerApps, Power BI Services, Power Automate.

Manage and support AWS GovCloud environment and FileCloud administration ensuring reliable operations and user support. | Requires broad cloud adoption experience, enterprise systems administration, and strong knowledge of Windows/Linux systems and cloud platforms. | Job Description: • Serve as the primary administrator for the DIAL AWS GovCloud environment overseeing essential platforms. • Manage FileCloud administration and provide comprehensive technical support to users. • Maintain critical environments to ensure reliable operations and seamless user experiences across the organization. • Responsible for cloud infrastructure management, monitoring, security and compliance, collaboration and support, and deployment. Requirements: • Broad experience with cloud adoption, including application readiness assessment, prototyping of new environments, server builds, data migration. • Experience as an enterprise systems administrator in a client or server environment, including deployment automation tools. • Experience in a customer-facing capacity, support, or consulting role. • Experience with cloud service provider offerings like Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). • Experience with design and implementation of distributed systems architecture on private or public cloud infrastructure. • Experience with troubleshooting very complex distributed environments pertaining to connectivity & app performance and monitoring tools & offering. • Experience working with cloud platforms. • Extensive knowledge of systems including Hardware, software, networking, and storage. • High-level strategic planning & advice to an entity that will allow for the successful adoption or migration of Cloud-based technologies or services. • Performance tuning of cloud environments. • Robust proficiency in Windows, Linux & CLI with 1-2 years of experience in VM infrastructure. • Strong written and oral communication skills. • Technical knowledge of infrastructure components such as Network, Storage, Linux/Windows, Application knowledge of Java, .Net, and IT security.
