Lead and execute digital marketing strategy focusing on patient acquisition and oversee digital ecosystem including website and compliance. | Requires 8+ years in digital marketing with technical SEO, AI-driven discovery, coding skills, healthcare compliance, and budget/agency management. | Cortica is looking for a Director of Digital Marketing & Web to join our growing team! The Director of Digital Marketing & Web is responsible for developing and executing Cortica's end-to-end digital marketing strategy to drive awareness, patient acquisition, and business growth. This role owns the organization's organic and paid digital channels, including SEO, AI search optimization (AEO/GEO), paid media, website strategy, marketing technology, analytics, and conversion optimization, ensuring a seamless digital experience that connects families with care while meeting performance and compliance objectives. As the leader of Cortica's digital ecosystem, this position oversees corticacare.com and related digital properties, manages the marketing technology stack and digital analytics, and ensures compliance with HIPAA, privacy regulations, and healthcare advertising standards. The Director partners closely with cross-functional teams to support growth initiatives, leads agency and vendor relationships, develops and coaches digital marketing talent, and continuously evolves the organization's digital strategy to keep pace with emerging search technologies and AI-driven discovery. Cortica is a rapidly growing healthcare company pioneering the most effective treatment methods for children with neurodevelopmental differences. Our mission is to design and deliver life-changing care – one child, one family, one community at a time. Ultimately, we envision a world that cultivates the full potential of every child. At Cortica, every team member is instrumental in helping us achieve our mission! Our culture and values guide how we work and treat one another. Cortica celebrates diversity and fosters an inclusive environment, seeking ideas and opinions from everyone on the team. We safeguard equal rights and respect for all individuals, regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, creed, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, ancestry, veteran status or other applicable, legally protected characteristics. All Cortica employment decisions are made based on an individual’s qualifications and ability to successfully perform the job responsibilities. What will you do? Own the end-to-end organic discovery strategy: technical SEO, on-page optimization, local SEO for our center locations, and content strategy in partnership with the content team. Lead our answer engine optimization (AEO) and generative engine optimization (GEO) strategy so Cortica is accurately represented and recommended in AI assistants and AI-powered search (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, AI Overviews). Manage structured data, site architecture, Core Web Vitals, and indexation health. Own strategy, budget, and performance across paid search, paid social, and display/video (Google Ads, Meta, etc.), executing directly or through agency partners. Build full-funnel campaigns tuned to how families research care decisions; manage CPA/LTV targets. Ensure compliant targeting and measurement appropriate to healthcare advertising (e.g., platform health policies, HIPAA-aware tracking). Own corticacare.com and related digital properties end-to-end: roadmap, UX, performance, conversion paths, and content publishing. Make hands-on updates and improvements directly — page builds, template changes, landing pages, forms, tracking — using HTML/CSS/JavaScript and our CMS. Run a continuous CRO/testing program (A/B tests, landing page iteration, form optimization). Manage web development agency/contractor relationships for larger projects. Own the martech stack: analytics (GA4), tag management (GTM), CRM/marketing automation in Salesforce, call tracking, review/listings management, and attribution. Build dashboards and reporting that tie digital spend and activity to inquiries, scheduled evaluations, and enrolled families. Ensure data flows cleanly between web, CRM, and downstream systems, with privacy and HIPAA considerations built in. Ensure strict compliance of all digital marketing activities with national and state security and privacy regulations, including HIPAA, CCPA/CPRA, and other applicable state privacy laws. Administer privacy controls across our digital properties using OneTrust: cookie consent management, consent banners, data subject request workflows, and vendor/tag governance. Partner with Legal, Compliance, and IT Security on privacy reviews of new tools, pixels, and campaigns; maintain HIPAA-aware tracking and measurement practices. Manage and develop the Social Media & Brand Specialist responsible for social media content, brand stewardship, and branding collateral, with junior-level execution skills on Meta and Google Ads. Set goals, coach skill development (especially paid media maturity), and create clear accountability structures. Responsible to hire, promote, coach, develop, performance manage, and terminate teammates under its purview. Set the digital marketing roadmap and budget; report performance to marketing and executive leadership. Partner with content, brand, clinical operations, and growth teams to support new center launches and service lines. Stay ahead of the rapidly shifting search/AI landscape and adapt strategy accordingly. Travel to local Cortica centers may be required from time to time. We’d love to hear from you if: You bring 8+ years of progressive digital marketing experience, including ownership of SEO and paid media programs with meaningful budgets. You have demonstrated expertise in modern search: technical SEO plus working strategies for AEO/GEO and AI-driven discovery. You have hands-on coding ability: comfortable editing and shipping HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and deep proficiency in at least one modern CMS; able to implement tracking, schema, and page changes without waiting on developers. You have demonstrable experience using AI coding agents (Claude Code or Codex) to build, update, and maintain web properties and marketing automations. You have demonstrable experience with OneTrust for privacy controls, cookie consent management, and related compliance workflows. You possess a working knowledge of HIPAA, CCPA/CPRA, and state privacy/security regulations as they apply to digital marketing, advertising, and analytics. You have expert-level fluency with Google Ads, Meta Ads, GA4, GTM, and Search Console; experience with CRM/marketing automation platforms. You have strong CRO instincts and experience running structured testing programs. You bring 3+ years of experience managing agencies and vendors to clear performance standards. Your Compensation & Benefits Cortica cares deeply about the well-being of each member of our team, and we have created a passionate, caring, and growth-minded culture that helps teammates thrive!
