Summary Of The Role We are seeking an Administrative Assistant (Permitting & Compliance), supporting our Permitting & Compliance business unit, you will be assisting a team of project coordinators on projects all over the United States. Responsibilities • Accurate keyboarding in preparing meeting minutes, spreadsheets, letters, memos and other documents, correct punctuation, spelling, grammar, and word usage • Support the Team with administrative duties; reports, presentations, letters, deliver application packages to agencies and file management • Deal with people tactfully and courteously in person and on the telephone; excellent telephone communication skills a must; effectively work with other employees and/or other departments • Assist in research of City, County, State, permitting codes, application requirements, forms, and fees • Make requests to the appropriate entities for site-specific information, including construction as-built records, utility plans, and archived reports • Initiate, devise, and implement improved work methods and procedures to accomplish work assignments in a timely manner • Demonstrate skill in the application of policies and procedures and to maintain client confidentiality Qualifications We’re looking for talented professionals who are eager to grow their skills and contribute to high-quality, meaningful work. The following qualifications will help you succeed in this role: • 4+ years of relevant experience and/or Bachelor's degree • Strong attention to detail, concentration, and flexibility (to switch between multiple tasks quickly as needed) • Interpersonal excellence • Perform required duties accurately and in an efficient manner • Excellent time management skills Work Location This is a hybrid position (3 days in office) based out of our Kent, WA office.
