This role sits at the intersection of creative, paid media, and data, ensuring that every asset—from ad copy to landing pages to storytelling frameworks—supports performance across Meta Ads, paid social, paid search, and Google Ad Grants. You’ll partner closely with internal teams and nonprofit clients to translate goals into compelling content ecosystems, guide creative direction, and ensure all messaging is aligned, accessible, and optimized for conversion. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep experience in digital advertising, strong editorial instincts, and a passion for mission‑driven work. Responsibilities: Content Strategy & Development ● Build and own content strategies that support paid media performance across Meta Ads, paid social, paid search, and Google Ad Grants. ● Develop messaging frameworks, audience insights, and creative briefs that guide high‑performing campaigns. ● Ensure all content aligns with nonprofit goals, brand voice, accessibility standards, and platform best practices. ● Partner with creative teams to concept and refine ad copy, landing pages, scripts, and storytelling assets. ● Identify content gaps and opportunities across the full funnel to improve engagement and conversion. Cross‑Functional Collaboration ● Work closely with Paid Media, Creative, and Account Management teams to ensure content supports campaign objectives and performance targets. ● Translate performance data into actionable content recommendations and testing roadmaps. ● Collaborate with clients to understand their mission, audiences, and impact stories, turning them into compelling digital narratives. Optimization & Performance ● Lead content testing strategies, including messaging, creative angles, CTAs, and landing page variations. ● Monitor campaign performance and provide insights that inform ongoing content refinement. ● Maintain a pulse on platform trends, nonprofit storytelling best practices, and emerging content formats. Leadership & Process Improvement: ● Mentor junior team members and contribute to building content standards, templates, and scalable processes. ● Uphold high editorial quality and ensure consistency across all deliverables. ● Support agency‑wide initiatives to strengthen creative strategy and cross‑team collaboration. Experience ● 8+ years of experience in content strategy, digital marketing, or creative strategy, ideally within an agency or nonprofit‑focused environment. ● Proven experience developing content for Meta Ads, paid social, paid search, and Google Ad Grants. ● Strong understanding of digital performance metrics and how content influences results. ● Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to adapt tone and structure for different audiences and platforms. ● Experience collaborating with creative, media, and client‑facing teams. ● Ability to translate complex nonprofit missions into clear, compelling, action‑driving content. ● Strong project management skills and comfort working in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment. ● Passion for social impact and supporting organizations that drive meaningful change. This role will report directly to the Head of Search Ads in order to create, build and launch paid search digital marketing campaigns for our high-impact nonprofit partners. Additionally, this role will work alongside Community Boost’s digital marketing consultants in order to execute effective digital strategies and exceed client marketing goals and expectations. Our Digital Specialists are responsible for successfully increasing website traffic, converting new supporters and generating revenue for our purpose-driven clients all to ultimately, accelerate and scale social impact. They are focused on providing dedicated customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional subject matter expertise and always teeing up their Community Boost team members for success with high-quality, on-time deliverables. This is a US based, full time, position. What you'll do: • Increasing website traffic, converting new supporters and generating revenue for our purpose-driven clients to scale and accelerate social impact. • Working within Google and Microsoft platforms to consistently hit and surpass client pacing metrics and goals. • Experience in multiple ads platforms. • Build strategy with Account Managers, write ad copy and create strong ads, build campaigns, optimize and provide reporting. • Successful execution of client deliverables and completion of tasks on time • Support Account Managers with various reporting, meeting prep, roadmaps, KPIs and data sets. • Bringing a systems mindset every day to solve problems permanently for the Community Boost team. This contractor role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and can translate audience insights into scalable media strategies. You’ll collaborate with internal teams to optimize performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure campaigns align with client goals and broader omnichannel strategies.
