The Customer Accounts Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and profit improvement with assigned customers. Position Summary: This role is responsible for driving sales growth and profit improvement with assigned customers. The primary focus is maintaining and nurturing strong, positive relationships with existing customers while also identifying and securing new opportunities. Additionally, this role will be heavily involved in expanding the presence of our Electrical Systems products and technologies, capitalizing on new market segments and applications. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with assigned customers at both individual and company scopes. Provide timely and effective service and support to all customers, internal and external, and assist in problem resolution whether technical or tactical. Expand CVG Product presence with existing customers’ channels, including dealers, distribution centers, and online platforms where applicable. Seek bid opportunities and assume a lead role in customer RFQ responses. Identify new markets and applications for existing products and technology. Offer insights that can be used to develop new and/or improved products to meet market needs. Develop and update periodic Sales Forecasts. Required Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or marketing, or equivalent experience. Experience: 3-5+ years of account management or sales experience Desired Characteristics Should have an overall understanding of the Electrical Systems or Wire Harness business segment and demonstrated ability to build strong relationships. Skills: Creative problem-solving, influencing skills, strong organizational and time management abilities, self-starter with initiative, excellent written and oral communication, business analytical skills, strategic thinking, proficiency in Microsoft Office and business systems. Knowledge: Strong familiarity with account management, RFQ process, and financial impact assessment. Preferably knowledgeable about CVG’s Electrical Systems product and service offerings. Abilities: Willingness to travel approximately 20-30% (may fluctuate based on CVG and/or customer needs), work independently or within a team, solve practical problems, collaborate with customers and internal departments, and think strategically. The Director, Sales & Customer Accounts – Vehicles is responsible for leading and growing key customer relationships within the Vehicles vertical. Position Summary: The Director, Sales & Customer Accounts – Vehicles is responsible for leading and growing key customer relationships within the Vehicles vertical for the Electrical Systems business. This role will oversee a team of Account Managers, drive sales strategy, customer engagement, and facilitate excellence through collaboration with the Program Management and Manufacturing teams. This role will act as the senior point of contact for strategic accounts, ensuring that CVG delivers value to customers while meeting revenue, margin, and growth objectives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Managers and Sr. Account Managers to ensure effective customer coverage, account strategy execution, and sales performance. Develop and maintain strong, strategic relationships with key customers across multiple levels and functions within the organization. Serve as the senior point of contact for strategic customer accounts, managing expectations and driving long-term partnerships. Identify and pursue new market opportunities for existing and new product offerings. Develop and implement strategic sales and account management plans to achieve annual revenue and profitability targets. Collaborate with internal departments including Product Development, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations to meet customer requirements and support business growth initiatives. Provide executive-level support in the RFQ process, contract negotiations, and bid strategy development. Monitor and assess market trends, customer developments, and competitor activity to inform account strategy. Ensure timely and effective resolution of escalated customer issues and support needs. Prepare and maintain executive summaries, sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and customer business reviews. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or marketing, or equivalent experience. MBA preferred. 10+ years of experience in account management, sales, or business development, with at least 3 years in a leadership or director-level role. Desired Characteristics: Possess an understanding of the Electrical Systems or Wire Harness business segments and a demonstrated ability to build strong relationships.
