Manage and mentor a team of Workday Solutions Architects, lead solution strategy, and oversee client engagements. | Requires 5+ years of Workday implementation experience, 3+ years of management, and relevant certifications. | Cognizant is seeking a dynamic Manager, Solutions Architect to join our Workday consulting team. In this critical role, you will manage a team of Solutions Architects, providing strategic guidance and solution design support throughout the sales process. You’ll leverage your deep Workday implementation expertise to ensure proposed solutions meet client needs and transition seamlessly to delivery. This is an opportunity to lead talented architects, influence solution strategy, and play a key role in driving successful Workday engagements for top-tier clients. Responsibilities: • Manage and mentor a team of Workday Solutions Architects. • Drive solution strategy for Workday HCM, Payroll, and Financials during the sales process. • Engage with prospective clients to understand requirements and craft tailored solutions. • Oversee RFP/RFI responses, client presentations, and proposal development. • Ensure accurate project scoping and estimation for statements of work. • Collaborate with sales leadership to qualify opportunities and define approaches. • Promote best practices and knowledge sharing across the team. • Represent Cognizant at industry events and conferences (optional). Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred (or PMP/other certifications). • 5+ years of Workday implementation experience, including at least two full end-to-end deployments. • 3+ years of people management experience. • Current Workday certification (HCM or Financials preferred). • Excellent communication and presentation skills for executive-level audiences. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Salary and Other Compensation Applications will be accepted until 03/17/2026 The annual salary for this position is between USD $144,092 - USD $182,234 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program , based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans. Manage Workday implementation projects by planning, staffing, tracking issues, ensuring budget compliance, and supporting client engagement. | Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, Workday experience preferred, knowledge of ERP, practitioner background in HR/Finance/Payroll, PMP strongly desired. | The Workday Associate Engagement Manager is a project manager, who can support client, company, and team accomplishment. This person will be hands-on with the support of key project deliverables such as: charter, project/staffing plans, issue logs, etc. while driving client engagement. Any budget or resourcing constraints will be communicated and addressed, keeping in mind the project’s success and profitability Key Responsibilities • Become an expert in Workday's Implementation Methodology and use it on all engagements. • Demonstrate an understanding in the Workday product suite - HCM, Payroll, and/or Financials. • Ensure projects are properly planned and staffed. • Provide support to Engagement and Senior Engagement Manager on larger projects. • Work with the client project manager to identify/resolve all issues that could impact project scope and/or timeframes. • Ensure the project is delivered within the budget outlined in the SOW. • Work with Delivery Assurance to ensure compliance with agreed to checkpoints. • Assist in the transition of the client from professional services to product support. • Ensure the client can serve as a reference upon completing their implementation. • Track issues and risks, communicate status, and escalate concerns about • applications. • Present at Executive Steering Committee meetings. • Identify and escalate change orders in the event client is requesting CS to perform tasks that are outside the scope of the SOW. • Participate in the sales cycle as requested to gather requirements, formulate delivery approach, and develop a proposal/SOW. Education & Experience Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Business Information Systems, or related field. • Previous Workday experience strongly preferred, but not required. • Knowledge of Internet technology and Enterprise Resource Planning. • A practitioner background in HR, Finance, or Payroll. • PMP is strongly desired Salary and Other Compensation Applications will be accepted until 11/23/2025 The annual salary for this position is between $75,800 - $95,865 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program , based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
