We’re currently seeking an Account Manager to support our CMMC Sales and Business Development. Position Summary We have a blended portfolio of both commercial and federal business, and a strong bench of SME support and commercial best practices to leverage with federal clients. This role will focus on new inbound clients, building brand awareness in the industry, and will leverage both partnerships and their existing client relationships to grow the CMMC business. This role will also have a voice in developing the strategic plan and go-to-market strategy to expand market share within the Defense Industrial Base. Location Details This is a full time, remote position (must be located in the United States). Limited travel is expected. What you'll do Communicate with clients to move them through the pipeline Maintain a pipeline of prospects through proactive outreach, networking, and relationship building. Collaborate with Senior Leaders in the execution and strategy of the CMMC sales program. Support with leads for CMMC compliance services within the Defense Industrial Base (DIB). Negotiate pricing agreements for CMMC opportunities. Collaborate with internal teams, including technical experts and consultants Develop proposals to meet the unique needs of potential clients. What you'll bring Thorough understanding of the business development/sales lifecycle Experience with sales pipeline and forecast Experience with developing proposals related to CMMC offerings Ability to communicate with various Senior back-office stakeholders including Marketing, Contracts, Finance, Delivery. Collaboration with the CMMC Marketing Team to drive demand across the CMMC landscape. Assists in developing organizational sales strategy related to CMMC Background in client management process from pre-sales to contract closure Experience with developing competitive intelligence related to sales opportunities Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Highly effective interpersonal skills to work with technical leaders, business executives, customers, and subcontractors Proficiency in Salesforce Ability to support ad hoc business development opportunities outside of CMMC if needed Willingness and adaptability to learn an emerging and growing market in the cyber space Education Completed Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, preferably in an IT related field. Years of Experience Overall 5-7 years of experience in business development or capture, selling services to commercial/public sector clients. To include 2+ years of experience selling and/or delivering federal compliance or cybersecurity solutions (CMMC or FedRAMP background strongly preferred) Bonus Points Background in Commercial and Federal sales practices, or other highly regulated industries.
