Program Operations • Facilitate budget and spend plan reviews including forecasting of expenses to support informed decision making. • Support budget development for grants and regional or sector-specific workstreams. • Coordinate and oversee contract procurement and consultant management processes while working closely with CATF Operations. • Support fundraising efforts by reviewing and inputting on proposals and reports. • Manage the onboarding process for new staff including updating and developing materials, delivering presentations, and coordinating with hiring managers. Engagement and Collaboration within the Organization • Lead team coordination activities such as organizing and facilitating internal and external meetings, preparing agendas and materials, capturing outcomes and action items, and developing other written correspondence. • Support the planning and execution of special events – such as team retreats or strategy meetings – by leading and organizing planning efforts, drafting agendas, liaising with consultants and vendors. • Build relationships with other CATF departments (Development, Finance, Communications and Marketing, IT, Operations etc.) to synthesize learnings and refine and implement best practices. Communications • Meet regularly with program staff to gather updates, identify challenges and provide support in problem-solving solutions. • Analyze and communicate financial information to internal stakeholders. • Synthesize technical materials into presentations, updates for the organization and other program communications. • Manage and support materials development for internal and external communications channels such as CATF’s Intranet and Methane Pollution Prevention webpages. Skills and Qualifications • Education/Experience • BSc/BA in project management, environmental science or related fields is required; MSc/MA or other advanced degree is preferred • 5+ years of project and/or program management experience • Skills • Outstanding written and oral communications and interpersonal skills. • Budget and contracts management. • Managing projects with tight deadlines in a collaborative way. • Strong application of analytical and critical thinking skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Microsoft Teams and Sharepoint. • Exceptional organizational skills. • Proven skills and experience working in a global team. • Personality/Behavioural • Consistent follow-through and commitment to producing high-quality work. • Attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness. • Curious and inquisitive with a passion for driving forward continual improvement efforts. • Self-starter who enjoys taking initiative and helping others. • Capable of working and collaborating in a virtual office environment; willingness to travel internationally occasionally. • Passion for CATF’s mission.
