PRIMARY OBJECTIVE The Office of Information Technology (OIT) supports student success by providing a leading-edge technology environment for students, faculty and staff to improve teaching, learning and operations. Reporting to the Executive Director - Web and Academic Technology Services, the SharePoint Administrator manages the City Colleges of Chicago's (CCC) Office 365/SharePoint environment, including system administration and the development of strategies for optimal use of SharePoint, Office 365, digital content, content management, and other collaborative tools within the organization. The SharePoint Administrator oversees the SharePoint intranet infrastructure for CCC, including user access and deployment, creating and administering SharePoint sites, and providing technical support for users. Performs related duties as required. ESSENTIAL DUTIES • Performs standard system administration activities such as site creation, permissions, backup, restore and issue resolution. • Develops, configures and maintains document libraries, enterprise lists and site collections. • Supports and develops custom workflows in SharePoint Designer or Flow. • Develops and assists users with InfoPath and Power Apps forms. • Oversees code deployments for break/fix and new solutions. • Participates in planning and executing tasks related to the evaluation of new SharePoint based initiatives and managing workflow communications. • Conducts remote training and disseminates information on best practices and new features and functionality with the Office 365 framework including OneDrive and team sites. • Works with all stakeholders to analyze business needs, design and develop appropriate SharePoint solutions for business process automation/management, collaboration, business intelligence, and enterprise content management. • Develops integrations with other enterprise systems and third-party products. • Remotely supports the installation, configuration, security, operation, and maintenance of all web portal servers, equipment, and software related to SharePoint infrastructure. • Remains abreast of current and emerging technologies; maintains preparedness to migrate to and support other CMS's and productivity platforms based on needs of the institution. • Performs other remote related duties as assigned. The Manager-Simulation Education oversees standardization of simulation education in the Simulation Center. The manager collaborates with faculty in the development, planning and integration of simulation into the curricula. The Manager-Simulation Education, in collaboration with deans and program faculty participates in implementing Inter-Professional Education (IPE) as a pedagogical approach to prepare students to work as part of inter-professional teams and provide patient-centered care in a collaborative manner. Works closely with the other staff and faculty to facilitate planning, implementation, and evaluation of SIM/Lab use. • Provides orientation to college administrators and faculty on the features of simulation equipment and the simulated learning environment. • Collaborates with Information Technology in evaluating proposed enhancement to existing IT infrastructure, simulation equipment, and instructional technologies and provide recommendations to college administrators. • Develops entrepreneurial initiatives related to clinical simulation that extend beyond academic programming to optimize revenue and available resource opportunities. • Available to work, day and evening hours and some Saturdays. Qualifications: • Master's degree or higher in a clinical health profession or related field required. • Minimum of 2- years of experience in simulation-based education and training or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Experience with designing and implementing educational programs, evaluation of outcomes, and assessment of adult learners. • Certification in simulation preferred. • Prior management experience preferred • Demonstrated ability to plan, implement, and evaluate patient simulation scenarios. • Familiarity with use and maintenance of simulation equipment. • Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization, including faculty, staff, and students. • Commitment to fostering diversity and inclusivity. • Familiarity with electronic medical records, learning management systems and data management. • Strong project management skills. • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills to represent simulation resources internally and to external constituencies. • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). $80,717.00 Offered salary will be determined by the applicant's education, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as other factors such as internal equity.
