Identify, cultivate, and secure support from individual donors and businesses, organize fundraising events, and maintain donor relationships. | Proven success in non-profit fundraising or sales, strong communication skills, and a network within the Philadelphia business community. | Responsible for identifying, cultivating, and securing financial support from individual donors, local businesses, and major corporations to fund the "Dispersed Transitional Homeless Project." Unlike a grant writer, this role focuses on direct relationship-based fundraising, corporate sponsorships, and community partnerships. II. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Individual Giving: Cultivate a portfolio of low to high-net-worth individuals to secure one-time and recurring monthly "Destiny Partner" donations. Corporate Sponsorships: Identify and pitch local and regional businesses (banks, construction firms, retail, etc.) for corporate social responsibility (CSR) partnerships. Business Networking: Represent Circle of Life Inc. at chamber of commerce meetings, business luncheons, and community events to build a donor pipeline. Capital Campaigning: Assist in raising specific funds for the "Rental Unit Readiness Kits." Donor Stewardship: Ensure all donors receive professional acknowledgments, impact updates, and "thank you" communications to maintain long-term retention. Fundraising Events: Lead the planning and execution of small-to-medium donor cultivation events (e.g., "Meet the CEO" mixers). III. KEY DELIVERABLES Monthly Prospect List: A tracked list of at least [15] new business/individual prospects contacted. Sponsorship Deck: Creation and maintenance of a professional "Partnership Menu" (e.g., $1,000 for a Rental Unit Readiness Kit). Revenue Goals: Achievement of monthly and quarterly fundraising targets as agreed upon with the CEO. IV. COMPENSATION & PAYMENT TERMS Contractor Fee: Circle of Life Inc. shall pay the Contractor 1% of all the money you raise under $150,000 per month. You get paid $1,500 per month when you raise over $150,000 per month. Success Milestone (Optional): Upon the successful acquisition of a corporate partnership or donation exceeding $10,000, a one-time "Performance Bonus" of **$[100]** may be awarded at the discretion of the CEO. V. QUALIFICATIONS Proven track record in sales, business development, or non-profit fundraising (non-grant). Strong verbal communication skills; comfortable making "the ask" in person and over the phone. Ability to work independently as a contractor while maintaining strict alignment with the organization’s mission and values.
