You'll align with clients' sophisticated financial needs, investment objectives, and the organization's strategy-contributing to business growth through networking, community involvement, and exceptional relationship management alongside your team. How You'll Succeed • Manage client relationships: Support the management of a shared portfolio of high-net-worth clients alongside a Senior Relationship Manager, ensuring strong retention and ongoing business growth while aligning with investment objectives and firm policies. • Expand the team's portfolio: Contribute to acquiring new clients with complex financial needs through strategic business development activities and close collaboration with Business Development Officers and your team. • Drive profitability: Support the achievement of revenue goals, assist in managing expenses, and monitor overall profit performance, taking timely action as part of the team when needed. • Deliver exceptional service: Help foster a high-touch service culture by leveraging your expertise in investment and wealth advisory services to deliver tailored client solutions in collaboration with the team. • Engage in client events: Participate in client events to deepen relationships and support new business development efforts as part of a coordinated team approach. • Collaborate effectively: Partner across internal teams to provide a seamless, professional, and timely client experience, working closely with colleagues and leaders. • Ensure compliance: Support the implementation and maintenance of strong operational and compliance risk controls across all activities, in line with team and organizational standards. Who You Are • Educational background: You hold a bachelor's degree (required), and advanced certifications such as MBA, CFA, CPA, or CFP are preferred. • Wealth management expertise: You bring 6-8 years of experience in portfolio management, wealth management, personal tax, or financial planning. • Investment knowledge: You have a strong understanding of investment products and strategies designed for sophisticated, high-net-worth clients. • Trust & Estate knowledge: Experience working Trust accounts and familiarity with estate planning • Financially savvy: You're skilled in financial analysis and can offer expert advice on complex, high-value relationships. • Relationship builder: You excel at cultivating lasting client relationships and delivering tailored recommendations that inspire trust and action. • Confident communicator: You're comfortable presenting to both small groups and large audiences, with excellent written skills for crafting professional proposals and presentations. • Strategic negotiator: You use advanced negotiation and influencing skills to identify and pursue new business opportunities. • Service-oriented: You act with professionalism and sound judgment, always keeping the client's success in focus. • Risk aware: You maintain a strong understanding of operational, regulatory, and compliance-related requirements. This role has an expected salary range of $130,000 - 165,000 for the Birmingham, MI market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit's incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
