Purpose To provide Pre and Post arrival case management services to refugees through the US Reception and Placement Program and to provide services to eligible clients enrolled in the Matching Grant Program. This position requires knowledge of case management and sponsorship development as it applies to Federal, and State funded social services programs. Responsibilities Manages refugee cases, ensuring timely delivery of services and fulfillment of requirements outlined in the Cooperative Agreement with Department of State/Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration and as required by CWS standards and procedures. Coordinate pre-arrival assessment, assurance, and US-tie screening and orientation. Coordinate and provide airport reception for refugees through the Reception and Placement Program. Maintain and document case files for each case in accordance with guidelines. Provide on-going case management including core services delivery and maintenance assistance services to eligible clients throughout the program service period. Coordinate and assist in apartment set-up for refugees as required. Coordinate English classes, vocational education, job training, childcare, cultural orientation and other referrals and services, as well as transportation to appointments. Coordinate interpretation and translation services to refugee clients. Conduct home visits as mandated by the program. Prepare and document direct client assistance requests and disbursements. Enroll eligible clients into the employment program and provide orientation, maintenance assistance, and on-going case management services throughout the program service period. Develop and document a budget for each case with expenditures and dates. Coordinate employment services, including job orientations, in a timely manner to assist client in achieving self-sufficiency. Coordinate and conduct enrollment of the Central American Minors (CAM) program for CWS South Florida. Coordinate and conduct enrollment of the Lautenberg program for CWS South Florida. Generate and submit cases’ reports. Participate in community events to disseminate program information and recruit potential clients. Stays abreast of refugee and immigrant issues, and available services to refugees, using current information to better identify and serve refugee clients. Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license. Perform other related duties as requested by the Resettlement Program Manager, the Regional Director Southeast and/or his/her designee. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in lieu of degree Experience: Minimum of 3 years previous work experience with refugee resettlement case management or other direct social services and excellent interviewing skills. Other Skills: Computer literacy, using word processing and database applications. Strong English writing skills. Spanish language fluency required. Purpose The Senior Case Manager, Virtual Integration Services provides culturally humble and client-centered services to support 100 % virtual case management for newcomers across diverse geographies in the U.S. The role accompanies newly arrived immigrants or recently granted asylees facing barriers to access the tools, information and services they need to thrive in their communities. The position conducts outreach, virtual screening, assessment, case management, resource creation and service coordination referrals through unique, individual case management plans, in line with program guidelines. This role also supports the timely administration of rental assistance in line with funder requirements. In many cases, the role may coordinate with other ORR service providers, immigration legal service providers and other community-based organizations to coordinate continuum of care and help program participants meet their needs and achieve self-sufficiency goals. Additionally, the position will conduct research and outreach to a wide array of community service providers to advocate for access for clients to promote local integration in a diverse number of locations. The VIS team frequently serves Dari, Haitian Creole, Spanish and Pashto speakers. Fluency in these or other refugee languages is desired. This is a grant funded position through the Preferred Communities Supplemental funding and is expected to last through September 29, 2026 Responsibilities Handle complex and difficult, or crisis case situations. Conduct comprehensive assessments for clients with varying needs Develop support plans and coordinate services required with in-house programs and various outside agencies Document all contacts and services in client case files and maintain case note logs. In addition to documenting all services, record clients’ public assistance usage. Complete all required reports. Advocate for clients to ensure the client applies for all federal, state, local or non-governmental programs for which the client qualifies. Provide support and crisis intervention when needed. Keep informed about client immigrant issues, changing federal policies and available services to clients, using current information to better identify and serve clients. Establish and maintain strong relationships with community agencies, social services and professional providers. Continuously monitor complex progress and evaluate effectiveness of support plans and recommend changes as needed. Perform all duties in a culturally and linguistically appropriate manner. (Compensation is paid by CWS for mileage when using personal vehicle.) Work with clients to remove barriers to employment and realize the goal of family self-sufficiency. Identify support services that may assist clients in becoming self-sufficient, such as ESL, transportation, immigration services, and childcare. Counsel clients in areas such as job interview skills, expected behavior on the job, and proper hygiene. Communicate with volunteer coordinator to organize volunteer assistance to welcome clients. Ensure volunteer availability and suitability to support the completion of prearrival activities. Attend training and conferences as requested by supervisor. Develop and deliver targeted training for case manager staff. Represent the program at meetings and speaking engagements relevant to the responsibilities of the position. Purpose The Manager of the Executive Office operationalizes the Chief Executive Officer's strategic objectives. Working hand in hand with the CEO and Chief of Staff, the Manager leads internal cohesion initiatives, invests in alignment with senior leadership across the organization and serves as the voice of the organization and its leaders both internally and externally. The person in this role is also a champion of the CWS staff and their priorities, communicating emerging needs and concerns with the Executive Leadership Team for consideration and action. Responsibilities Executive Communications The Communications Manager of the Executive Office will: • Serve as the voice of the Chief Executive Officer including: • Drafting mass internal emails. • Drafting letters from the CEO for resources such as the Annual Report, staff handbook and funds development assets. • Curating and crafting talking points for CEO engagements. • Reviewing and copyediting CEO Reports to the Board. • Creating visuals for CEO presentations. • Reviewing and/or approving public statements crafted by other staff and attributed to the CEO to ensure alignment of voice and messaging. • Create and execute an annual CEO communications plan to maximize his strategic public presence. • Represent the CEO and Executive Office in working groups and other internal settings. • Participate in CEO projects by keeping notes, establishing timelines or managing projects. • Serve as the written voice of members of the Executive Leadership Team when appropriate to support mass internal communication. Internal Communications The Manager of the Executive Office will: • Craft and maintain guidelines for internal communications, including mass calendar invitations, internal mass emails and virtual meeting logistics. • Support Executive Leadership Team members to send all-staff emails when needed. • Convene town halls and other all-staff calls, including scheduling, managing invitations and providing technical support. • Support the Chief of Staff in employee care initiatives. • Assist the Chief of Staff in communication and logistics related to Governance and Covenant member reports, meetings and convenings. • Schedule and convene the Tour of Teams. • Manage the State of Play planning team. • Curate and design the quarter Accomplishments newsletter for staff. • Maintain the Executive Office presence on the CWS intranet. • Offer support and technical expertise to other teams in setting their internal integration priorities and strategies. • Maintain positive relationships with senior leadership and staff across the organization. Other Responsibilities The Communications Manager of the Executive Office will: • Assist the Chief of Staff in projects as assigned. • Support the Chief of Staff in Executive Leadership Team communications. • Support the Chief Operations Officer to manage the Senior Leadership Team. • Collaborate with teams across the organization, including most prominently the Human Resources team, to improve employee onboarding and create opportunities for staff to engage with each other and with organizational leadership. • Continually seek out new ways to build organizational cohesion and culture. • Schedule and support planning of in-person CWS leadership meetings. • Support teams across the organization to build and maintain their sections of the CWS intranet. • This role also includes other duties as assigned.
