The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our chiropractic clinic, ensuring that patients receive exceptional care and administrative support. This position requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in medical terminology, and the ability to manage various administrative tasks efficiently. Responsibilities • Assist with patient intake and ensure accurate documentation of medical records. • Schedule appointments and work the front desk, including answering multi-line phones, scheduling appointments, collecting payments and handling patient inquiries. • Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations while managing sensitive patient information. • Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with understanding their benefits. • Support the chiropractic team by preparing treatment rooms and assisting during patient treatments as needed. • Provide excellent customer service to enhance patient experience and satisfaction. • Handle patient records requests. • Assist front desk with required paperwork. • Document and prepare insurance deposits. Requirements • Previous experience in a medical office or clinic setting is preferred; chiropractic experience is a plus. • Proficiency in medical terminology, including knowledge of ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT coding, and Medicare guidelines. • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. • Excellent typing skills; 10-key typing experience is beneficial. • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate documentation review and filing processes. • Ability to demonstrate effective phone etiquette and customer service skills when interacting with patients. • Experience with insurance verification processes is advantageous.
