What You'll Do Strategy & Execution • Build and execute a global social media strategy tailored to technical and executive personas • Align social efforts with business goals and market-specific needs in the Americas, EMEA, and APAC • Monitor industry trends, threats, and competitors to inform content and engagement strategy • Set KPIs and use data to optimize reach, engagement, and ROI Content & Engagement • Create and manage technical content that resonates with CISOs, DevSecOps, developers, and AppSec leaders • Translate complex cybersecurity topics into clear, engaging posts and thought leadership • Work with SMEs across R&D, product, and marketing to ensure accuracy and relevance • Manage daily platform activity and respond to audience engagement professionally and in real-time Creative & Visual Direction • Collaborate with design teams to produce graphics, infographics, and short-form video • Maintain brand consistency while optimizing visuals for each platform • Direct creative briefs that speak the visual language of cybersecurity and innovation Analytics & Optimization • Track and report performance across channels with actionable insights • Use analytics tools to continuously improve targeting, messaging, and format • Conduct benchmarking and competitive analysis to refine strategy What You Bring Experience • 5–7 years of B2B social media experience, ideally in cybersecurity or enterprise tech • Deep knowledge of the cybersecurity landscape, from AppSec to DevSecOps • Strong portfolio of content crafted for technical and executive audiences • Experience running global social campaigns and working with distributed teams Skills & Tools • Proficiency in platforms: LinkedIn, X, Reddit, YouTube, Threads, TikTok • Hands-on experience with Meltwater, Sprout Social, Buffer, or similar • Knowledge of SEO, content management, and social analytics • Experience with paid social and campaign optimization • Comfortable using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to accelerate content production Traits • Excellent written and verbal communication • Creative yet analytical thinker • Strong project management and time-zone coordination skills • Passionate about cybersecurity and building trusted digital communities Preferred Qualifications • Global Social Media Experience • Strategic Social Media Experience across all relevant platforms • Cybersecurity, or Application Security, or DevSecOps Social Media experience • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or equivalent experience • Multilingual skills (especially in languages aligned with key regions) What we have to offer • Competitive salary • Medical, dental, vision, 401(K), and additional incentives • Culture of community and opportunity to work in a growing organization • Room for career growth and professional development • Training and educational opportunities Checkmarx offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, competitive compensation, great work-life balance, as well as great benefits and perks throughout the year.
