Lead design and evolution of Kubernetes clusters and AWS infrastructure with Terraform, managing CI/CD platform and GitOps delivery for government systems. | Deep experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS, Linux systems administration, CI/CD pipeline design, and operational reliability. | The engineering team at Chainalysis is inspired by solving the hardest technical challenges and creating products that build trust in cryptocurrencies. We’re a global organization with teams in Denmark, UK, Canada, the USA, and Israel who thrive on the challenging work we do and doing it with other exceptionally talented teammates. Our industry changes every day and our job is to create user facing products supported by a flexible and scalable data platform allowing us to adapt to those rapid changes and bring value to our customers. As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer in the Investigations group, you'll be a technical leader on the Government Systems team — the group responsible for the deployment platform and operational infrastructure that delivers Chainalysis Reactor to government and high-security customers. In this senior role you will drive architectural decisions, mentor engineers, and raise the bar for infrastructure reliability and automation across the platform. You'll shape how environments are provisioned, how releases are delivered, and how the team scales its operational practices — all while partnering closely with product engineering, Security, Compliance, and Customer Success. The mission of the Government Systems team is to ensure that Chainalysis's most security-sensitive customers can run Reactor reliably in their own environments — including networks with strict access controls and limited connectivity. Government Systems sits at the intersection of infrastructure operations and product delivery. Product teams own their application code, but rely on Government Systems to provision environments, manage release pipelines, and operate the deployment platform. As a senior engineer you will be the connective tissue between these groups — setting technical direction, resolving cross-cutting issues, and ensuring the platform evolves to meet growing demands. Due to collaboration with Europe, we are highly prioritising candidates based in EST timezone. In this role, you'll: Lead the design and evolution of RKE2 Kubernetes clusters across development, acceptance, and production environments — driving upgrades, capacity planning, networking strategy, and operational resilience Architect and maintain infrastructure as code (Terraform) to provision and manage AWS-based environments, establishing patterns and modules that the team can scale with confidence Own the CI/CD platform (GitHub Actions) end-to-end — designing pipeline architecture, improving build performance, and ensuring releases flow reliably through staged environments Drive GitOps-based delivery strategy using Flux CD, defining standards for Helm charts and Kustomize overlays and ensuring consistent reconciliation across clusters Define container image lifecycle policies — building, signing, storing, and distributing images across OCI registries for multiple deployment targets Identify and eliminate operational toil through automation, improving environment provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes at a systemic level Establish and maintain monitoring, alerting, and incident response practices — owning dashboards, runbooks, and post-incident reviews that raise platform reliability over time Serve as a technical point of contact for product service teams integrating into the deployment pipeline — unblocking teams, troubleshooting complex environment issues, and advocating for infrastructure best practices Own the security posture of the deployment platform — managing secrets, certificates, RBAC policies, and security configurations to meet compliance and operational security requirements Mentor and grow other engineers on the team through code review, pairing, design discussions, and knowledge sharing We're looking for candidates who have: Deep experience operating Kubernetes in production at scale — cluster lifecycle management, Helm, networking, persistent storage, performance tuning, and complex workload troubleshooting Expert-level proficiency with Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure across multiple environments, including module design and state management strategies Strong Linux systems administration skills (RHEL or similar — networking, storage, systemd, performance analysis, shell scripting) Extensive experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar), with a focus on reliability, speed, and developer experience Deep familiarity with AWS services commonly used in infrastructure (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, EBS, Lambda, and related networking and security services) A strong operational mindset — you take ownership of reliability, think about failure modes proactively, and build automation to prevent recurring issues before they impact customers Soft skills we value: Team Player Willing to invest time in others' short-term (task-level) and long-term (career-level) success — through mentoring, pairing, thoughtful code review, and active knowledge sharing Actively identifies and addresses team dynamics and productivity issues in a constructive manner — you notice when something isn't working and you help fix it without waiting to be asked Builds collaborative relationships across organizational boundaries and time zones — you earn trust with product engineers, security teams, and stakeholders by being reliable, transparent, and generous with your expertise Technical Leadership Solicits input, builds consensus, and owns technical decisions — you bring people along on architectural choices, listen well, and then commit and drive execution Takes risks without being reckless — you push for meaningful improvements, propose bold changes when warranted, and back decisions with evidence and sound judgment You might also have: Experience with GitOps tools such as Flux CD or ArgoCD in complex, multi-environment setups — including designing promotion strategies and managing drift Familiarity with container registry operations, image distribution, OCI artifact management, and image signing or verification workflows Experience managing databases in Kubernetes environments (e.g., PostgreSQL operators, stateful workloads, backup and recovery strategies) Familiarity with Kafka or other message brokers in a containerized environment, including operational management and scaling Experience with configuration management or automation tools (Ansible or similar) at fleet scale Advanced scripting proficiency in Python for infrastructure automation, tooling, and integration work Experience supporting environments with strict security or compliance requirements (FedRAMP, FIPS, IL environments, or similar) Exposure to or passion for the cryptocurrency technology ecosystem Technologies we use: Kubernetes: RKE2, Helm, Kustomize, Flux CD Cloud provider: AWS (EC2, S3, EBS, VPC, IAM, Lambda) Infrastructure as code: Terraform CI/CD: GitHub Actions, semantic-release Monitoring and alerting: Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Humio Scripting and automation: Shell, Python Container registries: OCI/Docker Database management: PostgreSQL Event streaming: Kafka Operating systems: RHEL, Rocky Linux, Amazon Linux About Chainalysis Blockchain technology is powering a growing wave of innovation. Lead and scale global channel partner strategy and team to drive indirect revenue growth. | Proven experience in channel partner strategy, program design, execution, and leadership with strong commercial acumen. | The Business Development & Partnerships team plays an important role in our go‑to‑market strategy by building and scaling the ecosystem that surrounds Chainalysis - from technology alliances and services partners to system integrators and resellers. The team is responsible for identifying and developing inorganic growth opportunities, unlocking new routes to market, and fostering a diverse partner ecosystem that amplifies our reach while making it easier for customers to buy and deploy Chainalysis. The Director, Global Channel Partnerships will design and lead our global channel partner strategy and team. We’re building a structured, global channel program with a focus on enabling resellers, VARs, distributors, MSPs, and systems integrators to extend our reach into key customer segments. This role will be foundational to how we scale indirect revenue across regions. In this role, you’ll: • Build and execute the global channel strategy and program for Chainalysis, with a primary focus on resellers, VARs, distributors, MSPs, and SIs that extends our reach across target markets across crypto, financial services and public sector industries. • Develop and roll out a scalable channel partner program (tiers, requirements, benefits) that incentivizes partners to source, influence and close new business. • Hire, lead, and develop a small team of regional channel managers across the Americas, EMEA, APAC who will own day‑to‑day execution with local partners. • Define and track partner-sourced and partner‑influenced pipeline and revenue in collaboration with RevOps, and use data to guide investment, prioritization, and quarterly business reviews. • Design and deliver partner enablement on Chainalysis products and how to sell them – including ICPs and use cases, sales plays, how to qualify and register opportunities, co‑sell workflows, and objection handling. • Partner closely with Sales, RevOps, Marketing, and Product to define how channel partners fit into our core growth motions. • Establish governance cadences with strategic partners (joint business plans, QBRs/EBRs, pipeline and performance reviews) and with internal stakeholders. • Collaborate with Legal and Finance to structure scalable commercial frameworks and standard terms (discount/margin structures, referral or rebate mechanisms, and deal‑desk guidelines) that work across regions. We’re looking for candidates who have: • Proven experience owning and scaling a channel partner motion for a technology company, including responsibility for partner strategy, program design, and execution. • Hands‑on experience working with resellers, VARs, distributors, MSPs, and/or systems integrators as core GTM routes (not just one‑off deals). • A track record of designing partner programs (tiers, incentives, enablement, performance metrics) that drove measurable increases in partner‑sourced revenue. • Demonstrated people leadership experience - setting goals, coaching channel or partner managers, and holding the team accountable to outcomes. • Strong commercial and operational acumen - comfortable with margin structures, rebate and incentive design, deal governance, and conflict resolution between direct and indirect motions. • Experience collaborating closely with regional sales leadership and RevOps to define attribution, dashboards, and forecast processes for partner contribution. • Strong technical acumen around blockchain technology, with the ability to quickly learn Chainalysis products and turn that knowledge into effective enablement for channel partners. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence at executive level (internally and at partners), simplify complex GTM concepts, and align multiple stakeholders on a clear plan. Nice to have experience: • Background partnering within crypto, financial services, public sector, or cybersecurity industries. • Experience with PRM / deal registration tools and account mapping platforms • Experience building channels in an environment where direct sales and indirect routes to market must coexist and be carefully governed. • Comfort working across time zones with EMEA and APAC.
