Manage large-scale resourcing and staffing strategies for an agency, optimizing productivity and revenue. | 7+ years in production planning or workforce management, 5+ years in an agency environment, leadership experience, proficiency with resourcing tools, and strategic capabilities. | Job Description: • Manage resourcing of 150-200+ project team members across different accounts and engagement types • Model and execute resourcing of various engagement models, including retainer, fixed fee, hourly, etc. • Execute and oversee different types of resourcing models, including dedicated teams, fully dispersed/shared teams, freelancers, contractors, etc. • Accountable for supporting large scale of resourcing needs, including accounts of $10MM and above • Deep expertise leading resourcing for AOR and D-AOR accounts • Accountable for ensuring data reporting needs are met, and expertly applies findings to business impacts and recommendations. • Proactively addresses workflow challenges - accountable for regular analysis of processes, tools, and historical framework. • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, senior management, and leadership to identify and execute Production Planning’s role in delivering on business needs and optimizing productivity of the agency • Supports Senior Director on key agency business initiatives. • Expert written and verbal communication skills, including strong, effective and engaging presentations skills to larger audiences, leadership, and key partners. • Manage Production Planning team, owning operations, strategy, success metrics, and people management to maximize efficiency and improve processes • Serve as resourcing strategy subject matter expert. Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to plan and execute agency wide revenue and business initiatives • Identify and monitor resourcing trends, make strategic recommendations to senior leadership and functional leads as needed to optimize resourcing and revenue continuity and growth • Provide mentorship and guidance to production planning team, fostering an environment of continuous professional development • Translate agency growth strategy and revenue goals into actionable staffing and capacity plans • Use data-driven insights to improve utilization, margin performance, and delivery predictability • Stay current on industry best practices in resourcing, workforce planning, and agency delivery models • Evaluate and evolve Production Planning capabilities to meet changing business and client needs • Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams and leadership, creating open lines of communication • Communicate on behalf of the Production Planning team and agency from a strategic perspective Requirements: • 7+ years in production planning, resourcing, or workforce management • 5+ years in an agency environment required; pharma or life sciences strongly preferred • 5+ years leading teams and optimizing planning processes • Demonstrated strategic, analytical, and operational capabilities • Strong command of multiple resourcing and engagement models • Ability to support large-scale resourcing demands, including $10MM+ accounts/portfolios • Expertise overseeing resourcing for AOR and D-AOR accounts • Track record of guiding resourcing functions through growth, change, and organizational evolution • Proficiency with PSA platforms, resourcing tools, and data-driven planning methodologies (Workamajig preferred) Benefits: • Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance. Support execution of strategic public relations programs including media relations outreach, content creation, event support, and client communications within healthcare and life sciences sectors. | 1+ year healthcare or life sciences agency or in-house experience, bachelor's degree in relevant field, strong writing and organizational skills, and interest in healthcare communications. | We are seeking an energetic Public Relations Account Executive who is eager to build their career and motivated to help our team execute elements of strategic public relations programs, including media relations, content development, product launches, event support, and other related communications for our life sciences, biopharma, and healthcare clients. The account executive is passionate about telling meaningful and impactful client stories through creative media relations and understands the importance of using analytics to measure results. They have a strong grasp of tactically executing PR programs and a desire to develop their strategic skills within a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate is someone with prior agency experience who understands healthcare or life sciences and has the skills and insight to reach a variety of stakeholders. They must have the ability to address challenges and help drive complex communications programs proactively. This position works within the PR department but also operates as part of the larger integrated agency team to realize successful omnichannel campaigns. Key Responsibilities, including but not limited to: Client Relationships Supports client relationships with mid-level peers on communications updates (i.e., alignment on brief, status reports, meeting notes/contact reports, gathering client feedback). Attends necessary client calls but does not lead Prepares client reports and updates. Project Oversight Supports project activation and the tactical elements for communications plans (e.g., developing media lists, awards, and speaking opportunities) Supports executing media relations outreach programs Supports creating messaging/narratives, press releases, media pitches, by-lined articles, Q&As and persuasive client communications Organizes and maintains file storage with client provided materials and daily deliverables Understands how the agency works and how jobs move through the agency Prepares for all meeting logistics – conference line dial up, video call setup, printouts, etc. Conduct online research and traditional media and social media monitoring. Supports media relations programs including media list and pitch development, follow up with reporters, scheduling interviews, analysis of media coverage and monitoring media trends in healthcare news. An interest in learning how to plan and execute media relations activities including pitching and reporter relationship building. Monitors media platforms to identify key reporters and influencers and flag strategic opportunities for client engagement. Monitors regulatory developments that impact our clients (e.g., updates from the FDA). Identifies appropriate thought leadership platforms and opportunities for clients including speaking engagements and awards. Coordinates with patient or caregiver spokespersons for media outreach efforts and support for patient/caregiver education and advocacy efforts. Manages efforts to work with clinicians and researchers in communications activities, including as media spokespersons. Internal Relationships Exhibits understanding of all roles within the agency Strong listener and obtains clarification when needed Knowledge & Expertise Learns and follows all agency and client practices and procedures Gains exposure to the basics of media relations (e.g., pitch creation, database building, editor research) and understands the process to gain earned media visibility Learns the clients' business and objectives Educates themselves on high-level issues facing life sciences, rare disease, and precision medicine companies and understands general industry trends 1+ year of healthcare or life sciences agency experience or within a fast-paced in-house life sciences/healthcare organization Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in journalism, public relations, marketing, sciences or transferrable area Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills Strong project/time management and organizational skills Desire to immerse yourself in the complex life sciences/biopharma industry Flexible and agile, with the ability to quickly change course when the need arises Good writer and someone who communicates clearly and effectively. As required by law in this state, the estimated salary range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 and represents our good faith estimate as to what our ideal candidates are likely to expect. We tailor our offers within the range based on organizational needs, internal equity, market data, geographic zone, and the selected candidate’s experience, education, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process. At CG Life, it is not common for individuals to be hired at the higher end of the range, and compensation decisions depend on a variety of factors. This position is eligible to participate in a discretionary bonus program, subject to the rules governing the plan.
