Roles & Responsibilities * Inspire the Value-Based Care Operations team by serving as a business leader and process expert, ensuring the successful design, documentation, and configuration of new bundles and their associated claims workflows. * Translate process updates and refine strategies to guarantee a smooth transition to claims administration. * Create use cases for all testing phases related to new value-based clients. * Execute regression testing and user acceptance testing, working with claims staff * Lead new initiatives for operating new value-based arrangements by collaborating with Product and Development teams throughout the software development life cycle. * Enhance and create claims-related tools to empower operational staff, ensuring efficient and effective usage in their daily tasks. This position is ideal for a delivery-focused professional who excels at driving greenfield project creation from inception through production and enjoys being deeply involved in execution, problem-solving, and team leadership. In this role, you will lead and mentor a team of project managers who manage multiple concurrent initiatives. You will ensure projects are well-scoped, actively tracked, and delivered on time by managing timelines, dependencies, risks, and resources. You’ll also play a key role in strengthening project management standards, tools, and workflows, helping to achieve results that are consistent, visible, and accountable. Working closely with client stakeholders and cross-functional subject matter experts, you will serve as a delivery leader, resolving issues, guiding decisions, and keeping initiatives moving forward. Roles & Responsibilities * Oversee Project Managers who manage all internal strategic projects or client delivery projects, ensuring they deliver projects effectively, on time, and within project scope. * Define and oversee the definition of project standards and best practices * Oversee portfolio-level activities, recognize cross-project dependencies and resource conflicts, and initiate discussions with senior leadership to resolve * Maintain and improve a formal process for client and senior leadership communication and management of portfolio-level activities * Work with senior management to prioritize various initiatives to keep them aligned with company goals * Oversee and coach project managers on their relationships with clients and internal stakeholders. * Work with program and project leadership to communicate priorities to functional teams * Establish clear goals, responsibilities, competencies, and development plans for each team member, and keep an eye on progress to help everyone succeed. * Mentor team members and contribute to their overall development * Engage and maintain relationships with stakeholders across the firm to effectively navigate the organization * Simplify complex topics and create innovative solutions for issues * Serve as an escalation point for the client relationship challenges related to client delivery and project management. * Ensure team members are appropriately trained to handle day-to-day activities. * Provide coaching and performance feedback through one-on-one meetings, staff meetings, and other communication as appropriate. Job Location: Hybrid Remote from our offices in Houston, TX, or, if needed, Fully Remote within the U.S. Required Experience / Qualifications * Over 15 years of professional experience with significant advancement in Project Management or Professional Services. * Minimum of 8 years of experience in healthcare, including Data Analytics, Capitation, Population Health, Revenue Cycle Management, Clinical Quality Measures, or related areas. * Project Management Certifications (PMP, PgMP, or equivalent) strongly preferred * Strong ability to communicate with executives and clients and be comfortable presenting in front of large groups * Greenfield project creation and strategic project portfolio planning experience * Strong understanding of the use of project/software development workflow tools * Experience leading and training project managers in a management position * Strong understanding of software development processes and requirements * Willing to travel to client and executive meetings when necessary, typically less than 25%. * Must be able to work and communicate with the client, including the ability to understand the client's requirements and troubleshoot implementation issues * Ability to persuade, encourage, and motivate others while actively listening to them * Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience; Master's Degree preferred * Currently eligible to work in the U.S. without assistance in getting an employment visa or work authorization.
