The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating and project management, with the ability to manage multiple projects at one time - from initial bid preparation and contract negotiation, to managing the drywall crews. This role requires excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of construction processes and cost control. Cedar Creek Renovations, LLC serves SW Washington - including Clark County, Cowlitz County and Skamania Counties. Responsibilities • Lead the drywall team in preparing accurate and competitive bids for construction drywall projects. • Utilize software tools such as Housecall Pro Microsoft Office • Meet with the potential clients in order to "make the sale" • Conduct site walks / project evaluations • Conduct thorough analysis of project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to determine project costs. • Collaborate with construction teams to gather necessary information for accurate pricing. • Negotiate contracts with clients and subcontractors to ensure favorable terms for the company. • Monitor project budgets and costs throughout the lifecycle of each project to ensure adherence to financial targets. • Provide guidance on cost control measures and pricing strategies to optimize profitability. • Maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and quality materials. • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and company policies during the estimating process. Qualifications • Proven experience in construction estimating with a strong understanding of construction drywall processes. • Proficiency in estimating • Strong negotiation skills with experience in contract management. • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Familiarity with cost control practices and pricing strategies within the construction industry. • Previous experience working on construction sites is an advantage. • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with clients and the management team.
