Respond to audit and compliance requests ensuring IT department adherence to policies and regulations. | Requires strong administrative, organizational, analytical skills, MS Office proficiency, and experience in report development and regulatory compliance. | Come join our amazing team and work remote from home! What you’ll do: Responsible for the timely and accurate response to audit and compliance requests for the enterprise while also ensuring that the IT department itself is in compliance with all internal and external policies and procedures. Perform all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, investor guidelines, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates. The target pay range for this position is $85,000.00 to $95,000.00. Assist with providing evidence in response to audit engagements, assessments/state exams, or due diligence requests. Evaluate evidentiary documentation for accuracy and completeness and reconcile evidence and other assessment and due diligence documentation to ensure compliance with audit controls, regulatory and/or client requirements. Create and maintain a repository of support documentation for audit/assessment submissions to ensure consistency across all requests. Actively engage appropriate resources and function as project coordinator to ensure a timely and accurate response to requests. Support the annual government certification activities, including the NIST and SSAE engagements, which requires timely procurement and delivery of documents, report requests and meeting coordination. Ensure the continuity and accuracy of audit, regulatory and due diligence responses. Review the IT Department policies and procedures to ensure that they are up to date and accurate at all times and make recommendations when updates are needed. Maintain detailed communication on all requests, providing progress updates and completion status to manager and other relevant stakeholders. Establish a strong rapport and coordinate with applicable business unit(s) and departmental contacts to procure appropriate evidence as needed. Continually monitor the IT policies and procedures as well as the IT components of business processes and proactively seek out opportunities to identify potential process improvements and/or make recommendations for changes to ensure compliance. What you’ll need: Strong administrative and organizational skills required Familiarity with mortgage industry and/or financial services. Familiarity with industry standard audit guidelines, processes and terminology (NIST and SSAE) a plus Proficient in MS Office with advanced skills in Excel and Visio Strong analytical, problem solving, collaboration and technical skills. Strong time management skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Ability to comprehend complex problems and to collaborate and explore alternative solutions. Ability to organize and prioritize own work schedule on short-term (longer than one month) and long term (a year or longer) basis. Ability to compose letters, outlines, memoranda, and basic reports and/or to orally communicate technical details. High school diploma or equivalent work experiences required; Associate’s degree preferred. Three (3) plus years of professional work experience with specific report development, regulatory compliance, and/or audit management. Five (5) plus years’ experience in mortgage service, financial services, or regulatory industry. LEAN, Six Sigma or other process improvement/project management training and/or experience is a plus. Familiarity with project management tools (i.e. Jira) a plus. Develop and execute sales strategies to expand title and settlement services, build relationships with clients, and meet sales targets. | Requires 3-5 years in sales and title services, willingness to travel up to 65%, and a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. | Come join our amazing team and work from home! The Vylla Title Insurance Business Development Officer will be responsible for the development of new title and settlement business as well as expanding business with existing clients. You will work closely with the company’s agents, MLD Offices, local lenders, brokers and attorneys to drive title and settlement business to the company. Provide excellent customer service to all internal and external customers. Perform all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates. The target pay range for this position is $90,000 - $120,000 plus monthly bonus. What you'll do: • In conjunction with senior management, develop and execute methods to achieve strategic goals. • Assess market capacity in assigned geographic area(s); develop strategic sales plans to capture market share. • Identify, research and solicit new clients; meet with senior-level decision makers to sell the benefits of the company’s title services. • Travel to sales prospects’ location; make sales presentations in person across assigned geographic territory. • Increase the volume of title services by bringing in new business and maintaining productive relationships with existing clients. • Meet or exceed sales objectives on a short-term and long term basis. • Act as the primary liaison to clients from inception and on-going throughout the partnership. • Establish a company database of existing and potential clients through the use of Sales Force. • Work closely with attorneys, lenders and the local real estate community, and attend local events to build goodwill and acquire referral business. • Stay abreast of trends within the real estate and mortgage arena and make recommendations on potential new products and/or services the company may want to provide. • Attend conferences assigned What you'll need: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience • Three (3) to five (5) years’ sales experience • Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in the title and settlement services required • Willingness to travel upwards of 65% of the time.
