You would participate in program design, coding, QA, and documentation while leading software upgrades and module installations. | The role requires Windows command-line and PowerShell experience plus a related bachelor’s degree or equivalent Information Systems work experience. | Overview The IT Sr Software Support Engineer participates in analysis, program design, coding, QA, documentation, software support and other programming and/or analysis tasks needed to produce reports and interfaces and support team's systems. Demonstrates technical leadership and ability to function as Project Leader. Responsibilities Supports both in house written software and purchased external written packages. The team is an integral part of testing, implementing and supporting new modules as well as major yearly upgrades and other updates. Codes, implements, integrates and documents all installed software upgrades and module installs. QA is documented and available for IT management team and user departments to study. QA is part of every project plan for both in house written programs and purchased packages or modules. Provides technical information to IT management for planning, decision making and implementing solutions as needed for departmental issues or needs. Salary Range The compensation range for this position is $40.28per hour - $69.28per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
