About the Job: The Technical Strategy Project Manager – Data & Digital Transformation plays a critical role in leading high-impact transformation initiatives for a large financial services client. This position blends strategic thinking, delivery leadership, and executive engagement, with accountability for program execution, governance, and stakeholder alignment. Acting as the primary PMO lead and advisor to senior leadership, you will bring structure, momentum, and clarity to complex, multi-workstream data and technology programs. This is a fully onsite role in McLean, VA, requiring close collaboration with client executives and cross-functional delivery teams. What You’ll Get to Do: Program Delivery & PMO Oversight Direct the execution of large, multi-track data and digital transformation programs Define and maintain PMO standards including integrated plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues Ensure consistent delivery discipline and accountability across business, data, and engineering teams Data & Technology Leadership Provide coordination and oversight across data mapping, profiling, conversion, and testing efforts Work closely with data and engineering leads to evaluate data readiness, quality, and downstream impacts Use technical and data acumen to surface risks, challenge assumptions, and support sound decision-making Executive-Level Communication Produce polished, executive-ready PowerPoint materials for steering committees and leadership reviews Synthesize complex technical and data topics into clear insights, implications, and recommendations Present structured program updates that enable timely, informed leadership decisions Stakeholder Engagement & Change Enablement Build strong partnerships across business, technology, and data stakeholders Align teams around transformation goals, delivery timelines, and success measures Anticipate delivery challenges and proactively design mitigation approaches What You’ll Bring with You: Demonstrated experience leading or supporting large-scale data or digital transformation initiatives Strong PMO and delivery management background across complex, cross-functional programs Working knowledge of data transformation activities such as mapping, profiling, conversion, and testing Proven ability to engage and communicate effectively with senior and executive audiences Advanced PowerPoint capabilities with a track record of producing executive-facing materials Willingness to work onsite in McLean, VA, five days per week Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline Why Capco?
