Our Chapters help Members expand their networks and stay informed on evolving trends within the alternative investment industry. The Chapter Relations Temp will play a key role in supporting the strategic objectives of the Chapter Relations team by assisting with the planning, coordination, and execution of events across the Americas region. This temporary position ensures seamless continuity of Chapter operations during a maternity leave period. The role will collaborate closely with internal teams, Chapter Executives, and external partners to deliver high-quality programming that aligns with CAIA’s mission and brand standards. This position reports to the Associate Director of Chapter Relations. Key Responsibilities: Manage CAIA Chapter email inboxes daily. Prepare, ship, and track materials for various CAIA events, as necessary. Provide support in proofreading and editing materials as needed. Manage our team Cognito forms for event creation and sponsorship invoicing. Provide support creating event invitation graphics, registration pages and LinkedIn graphics. Support efforts to launch new Chapters, as necessary. Provide support on additional administrative tasks as needed, such as updating event lists, helping to pull registration lists for events, exclusion lists for event invitation reminders, budget spreadsheets, update the email and communications calendar, and maintain historical records of event graphics. Provide support maintaining the Chapter Relations SharePoint page, making sure documents are up to date and organized. Manage Chapter event sponsorship invoicing by creating invoices, sending the invoices to sponsors, and helping with payments as needed. Provide support to Chapters requiring reimbursement for out-of-pocket expenses. Provide support reviewing event contracts and making payments to venues. Participate in CAIA staff meetings and conference calls with Chapter volunteers. Collaborate with other departments within CAIA Association, including Marketing, Content, and Candidate and Member Relations. The Project Manager will play a vital role in the development of new learning programs, the expansion of our e-learning platform CAIA.nxt, and the ongoing revisions and change-management for the current CAIA.nxt programs and CAIA curriculum. Primarily, the Project Manager will oversee multiple, concurrent eLearning development projects ranging from 2–8 hours of digital learning content. These projects involve cross-functional teams of subject matter experts, instructional designers, writers, and video production professionals. Additionally, given the global nature of the organization and learning, some responsibilities may require occasional availability outside traditional work hours to meet with global colleagues and/or international partners and collaborators. This role requires 3–5 years of project management experience and a demonstrated ability to work independently while ensuring deliverables meet CAIA’s quality standards, timelines, and budget expectations. Duties and Responsibilities: • Lead multiple eLearning projects from kickoff through final delivery, as well as other programs team projects such as curriculum revision cycles, adapting existing project plans as appropriate. • Manage timelines, milestones, and budgets across all assigned projects. • Facilitate collaboration across diverse project teams including Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), instructional designers, writers, editors, and external contributors. • Monitor progress, identify risks early, and develop mitigation strategies. • Lead regular project meetings, document decisions, and follow up on actions. • Ensure the quality and consistency of course content through structured reviews and testing. • Support administrative efforts of the Learning Management System (LMS), currently the Absorb LMS. • Collaborate with key stakeholders across other CAIA departments including programs, marketing, content, finance and global regions of key project milestones and related tasks. • Prepare project status updates and communicate progress to senior management and stakeholders upon request. • Recommend improvements to workflows, tools, and processes to increase efficiency.
