About the Position This is a pivotal, hands-on leadership role reporting directly to the Operations Manager, designed for a field-focused professional capable of driving revenue growth and operational efficiency. The Landscape Unit Manager will oversee a department revenue target of approximately $1 million, leading multiple crews to ensure projects are executed profitably while maintaining high standards of client retention and service quality. Responsibilities • Lead and mentor 2–3 landscape crews (5–8 employees), managing daily schedules, performance, and disciplinary actions to ensure peak productivity. • Orchestrate daily field operations and job execution, ensuring all work meets the company’s strict quality and safety standards. • Manage the department’s operating budget, job costing, and profitability tracking to align with company-established financial goals. • Drive revenue growth through active sales performance, including estimating, upselling services to existing clients, and acquiring new business. • Maintain responsibility for an annual revenue target of approximately $1,000,000, ensuring operational efficiency across all assigned projects. • Execute year-round leadership duties, including active participation in winter operations and snow plowing management during the off-season. Requirements • 3+ years of experience in landscape operations management or a similar field supervisory role. • Proven background in crew leadership, including the ability to train, motivate, and manage field staff. • Demonstrated experience with job costing, budgeting, and tracking operational efficiency. • Strong customer relationship management skills with a track record of client retention and sales support. • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is mandatory. • Willingness and ability to participate in snow plowing and winter operations is required. Compensation & Benefits • Base Salary: $1,000 Weekly ($52,000 Annual Base). • Performance Bonus: Eligible for bonuses based on department profitability. • Company Vehicle: Provided for work-related duties and daily operations. • Employment Type: Full-Time, Year-Round position. • Equipment: Computer and necessary tools provided.
