Assist group and subscription buyers by phone, perform sales office tasks, and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. | Strong verbal and written communication, customer service skills, willingness to learn ticketing system, enthusiasm for arts and fast-paced environment. | Broadway In Chicago seeks Part-Time Sales Office Agents The sales office agent will work in our subscription and group sales department assisting Group and Subscription buyers on the phone as well as additional tasks as needed. Start/end dates and scheduled weekly hours are flexible with some evening and weekend hours that may be required. Basic Qualifications For All Assistant Positions Include • Excellent communication skills including verbal and writing skills. • Strong customer service skills. • Willingness to learn computerized ticketing system. • An enthusiasm for the arts, entertainment, music, and/or pop culture. • Fast paced environment with attention to details a must. Average hourly schedule: Approximately 20 hours or above per week. This is an hourly union position requiring daytime, evening, and weekend shifts. (Current IATSE Local 750 union membership not required to interview & apply.) Starting pay rate for this position is $19.44 per hour. Benefits under this Collective Bargaining Agreement include Overtime & holiday pay on scheduled hours worked, paid vacation earned as per employee handbook, and Employer contribution toward Union health insurance plan- plans are based on membership qualifications and plan selection.
