This role acts as a primary point of contact for larger retainer clients and oversees the execution of PR programs.Client Management: Fosters positive working relationship and client trust through ongoing, consistent strategic counsel. Acts as a sounding board for clients.Serve as a primary point of contact for earned media and influencer client needs across the agency's client portfolio.Project Management: Supports the Account Director and VP in development and oversight of new product launches, brand campaigns, and incremental initiatives. Tracks timelines, budgets, and resources. Responsible for quality control and timely delivery of work.Strategic Planning: Demonstrate understanding of clients business and PR Goals.Develop and implement PR strategies aligned with client goals.Collaborate across PR, paid media, social media and influencer teams to develop integrated marketing campaigns that drive engagement and brand visibility.Incorporate affiliate into pitching strategy and make recommendations to clients on the right platforms and how to leverage the right affiliate networks.Conduct research and analysis to inform strategic decisions.Present strategic recommendations to clients and internal teams.Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor account team members. Delegate tasks and provide constructive feedback. Position Overview: The Account Executive is responsible for managing client relationships and executing public relations strategies to achieve client goals. This role involves day-to-day client communication, media relations, and project management. Key Responsibilities: • Client Management • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients. Develop and maintain client relationships. • Media Relations: • Pull and manage media and influencer databases. • Draft and distribute pitches/press releases/media alerts; Conduct follow up and monitor for coverage. • Coordinate media interviews and develop spokesperson briefing documents. • Build relationships with key journalists and influencers. • Awards: • Lead client media awards programs inclusive of research, recommendations, submission applications, and managing deadlines. • Junior Staff Management: • Review junior member team to do lists, media lists, edit pitches and press materials, and provide feedback as necessary. • Creative Ideation: • Participate in brainstorms and contribute creative ideas for client campaigns, new product launches, pitch angles, etc. • Project Management: • Coordinate project/campaign/account timelines and deliverables. • Track progress and communicate with clients. • Events/Activations: Assist in research, planning, and execution of virtual or live press media & influencer press events, creative media mailers, etc. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. • 3-4 years of PR agency experience in the consumer goods industry • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. • A proactive, self-starter attitude with a passion for staying ahead of trends Benefits Eligible For: • Unlimited PTO • Paid time off between Christmas and New Year's • Fabulous Fridays - Office closes at 3 pm! • 401K with a 3% company match • Medical, dental, and vision coverage • Medical and Dependent Care FSA • Life Insurance • Long Term Disability
