About the Role We’re seeking a Video Editor (CapCut Specialist) who is highly skilled in creating engaging, trend-driven short-form content for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced social media environments, has an eye for storytelling and design, and understands how to craft content that captures attention in the first 3 seconds. You’ll work closely with our creative and client success teams to deliver world-class edits that elevate our clients’ brands and drive measurable growth. Key ResponsibilitiesVideo Editing & Content Creation • Edit engaging short-form videos using CapCut (primary) and complementary tools. • Incorporate text overlays, captions, sound effects, trending audio, transitions, and animations to boost watch time and engagement. • Repurpose long-form content (podcasts, webinars, interviews) into short viral clips. • Maintain consistency with each client’s brand guidelines, tone, and message. Creative Strategy & Collaboration • Work with the content and strategy team to translate ideas into visually compelling edits. • Suggest new editing formats, hooks, and styles to stay ahead of social trends. • Provide input on content flow, pacing, and storytelling. Trend Spotting • Stay on top of TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube trends, especially those relevant to dentistry, health, and lifestyle. • Experiment with new features, effects, and creative editing techniques to maximize virality. Performance Optimization • Optimize video edits for each platform’s algorithm (dimensions, captions, thumbnails, etc.). • Monitor engagement metrics and apply insights to future edits. • Collaborate with the team on strategies to grow client accounts consistently and measurably. Experience & Skills • 3+ years of experience in video editing (agency, social media, or freelance). • Proven experience creating viral short-form content with CapCut. • Proven track record of growing social media accounts (show portfolio/case studies with before-and-after results). • Deep knowledge of Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook video formats. • Strong design sense and ability to match visuals with brand voice. • Experience in adding captions, emojis, graphics, and music sync to maximize engagement. • Bonus: Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar design tools. • Passion for working in a faith-driven, purpose-centered environment.
