We help financial institutions improve how they operate by combining deep banking experience with AI-enabled delivery. This is an opportunity to help build a new practice within an established consulting firm. The Roles We are hiring experienced business transformation consultants with deep Consumer Banking & Lending experience. These are senior, hands-on consulting roles for people who have spent their careers leading banking transformation across operations, technology, and the customer lifecycle. We are hiring at two levels: Associate Director — You own client engagements from proposal through delivery. You build senior client relationships, shape and scope the work, lead delivery teams, and are accountable for client outcomes, engagement success, and growing long-term client relationships. You also help build the practice through business development, recruiting, developing new offerings, mentoring others, and contributing to thought leadership. Senior Managing Consultant — You lead the delivery of complex engagement workstreams. You work closely with clients, guide consulting teams, develop high-quality deliverables, and translate findings into practical recommendations and implementation roadmaps. You also help build the practice through recruiting, developing new offerings, contributing to thought leadership, and improving how we work. What You'll Do Lead banking transformation across consumer lending, retail banking, and payments. Assess current operations, design future-state operating models, and develop practical implementation roadmaps. Lead transformation programs, governance, and PMOs from strategy through execution. Support technology-enabled transformation, including vendor evaluation, implementation, and business readiness. Develop high-quality client deliverables and executive presentations. Build trusted client relationships and communicate recommendations to senior stakeholders. Collaborate with our AI specialists to incorporate AI-enabled approaches into consulting delivery. Contribute to business development and the continued growth of the practice. At the Associate Director level, you will additionally: Own proposals, scoping, pricing, and client pursuits. Lead multiple concurrent engagements and the teams delivering them. Build senior client relationships and identify opportunities to expand client work. Qualifications Required Prior consulting experience delivering business transformation for financial institutions. Associate Director candidates should have experience leading engagements and supporting business development within a consulting firm. Deep experience in one or more of the following areas: retail banking, consumer lending, or credit cards, including servicing, collections, and default. Experience leading large transformation programs in regulated financial institutions, including work involving regulatory change, compliance, operational improvement, or regulatory remediation. Ability to work effectively across business, operations, technology, legal, compliance, and risk functions. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders. Ability to travel to client sites as needed. Preferred Industry experience at a leading bank, lender, or financial services institution. Additional experience across Commercial Banking, Payments, or Wealth Management. Experience using AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT is helpful but not required. We are looking for consultants who are curious about AI-enabled delivery and interested in working alongside our AI specialists to improve how consulting work is performed. Success in these roles requires strong consulting skills, deep banking experience, sound judgment, and a willingness to help build a growing practice. Associate Director Salary range: $180,000 - $250,000 Senior Managing Consultant salary range: $150,000 - $175,000 Job title and level will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
