Oversee and manage IT/OT projects, direct teams, and coordinate with contractors to ensure timely delivery aligned with strategic objectives. | Experience in leading teams, managing projects and resources, and supporting IT/OT systems, with federal government or large-scale enterprise experience preferred. | Summary This position is located with Bonneville Power Administration (BPA), in the Work Planning and Delivery (JIM) organization of Internal Business Operations (JI) Information Technology (J). A successful candidate in the Supervisory IT Program Manager position will develop, implement and evaluate all programs and policies which ensure the timely delivery of products and programs in support of Bonneville's strategic business objectives. Duties Help As a Supervisory IT Program Manager, you will: • Exercise delegated supervisory authorities and responsibilities, directing, coordinating, and overseeing the work and providing similar oversight of contractors when appropriate. • Plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work. • Assign work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments, and the capabilities of employees. • Make decisions on work problems presented by subordinates or by contractors. • Support the procurement process for Informational Technology/Operational Technology (IT/OT) services, equipment, products, supplies, property, or other items. • Monitor proposal and project performance and understand key risks and dependencies and ensure they are proactively managed. • Identify appropriate project documentation requirements and ensure they are delivered professionally and of high quality. • Serve as the IT/OT Portfolio and Project Manager and subject matter expert responsible for directly managing all IT/OT proposals and projects, and for providing expert advice, guidance, and recommendations to staff, management and other technical specialists on critical IT/OT project management issues. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate's resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as: 1) Experience in leading teams, including overseeing work of administrative staff and contractors, and providing guidance on the troubleshooting, support, and optimization of applications to ensure high performance and reliability; 2) Experience in managing projects and resources, including monitoring and inspecting costs, work, and contractor performance; quality assurance; requirements analysis; and risk management. "Experience" refers to paid and unpaid experience. Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations. In this position, you will support and executes PTFR marketing and scheduling activities with limited management oversight to ensure financial and operational objectives and reliability requirements are adhered to at all times during the 12-hour rotating shifts. Duties Help As a Customer Account Executive (Real Time Trader and Scheduler), you will: • Routinely monitors markets and participates in discussions that optimize trading opportunities between trading hubs, time horizons and markets (bilateral vs organized). • Routinely monitor Transfer Customer Loads and available transmission to execute marketing and scheduling strategies that achieve load service and minimize BPA's exposure to energy imbalance charges. • Assist senior specialists in managing curtailments and resupplies for transfer customer load schedules. • Assist in performing the daily scheduling of power. • Routinely review business practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs). • Participate in training programs to ensure that software problems are accurately documented and promptly addressed by technical support staff.
