Job Summary The Category Insights Manager supports category leadership by applying syndicated data and customer insights to drive category growth across key retail channels. This role partners with Sales, Marketing, Revenue Growth, working within the Insights COE to build compelling category stories for retailers, inform line reviews, and support channel strategies. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience working with Nielsen or Circana and strong presentation skills with retail customers. This role will help translate insights into strategies that expand distribution, improve shelf execution, and support innovation across the portfolio. Job Details Key Responsibilities: • Category Insights and Analysis • Analyze syndicated data, shopper trends, and competitive performance • Develop insights that support account strategies and category recommendations • Support line review storytelling and help build the national narrative that can be customized by customer • Retailer and Customer Engagement • Present category insights and recommendations to key retail partners • Support customer business planning with clear, data-driven insights • Partner with Sales to prepare selling decks, assortment proposals, and shelf strategies • Performance Support • Track category performance across channels using syndicated and internal data • Identify distribution, market share, velocity, and pricing opportunities • Support reporting needs for Sales and Revenue Growth Management • Cross-Functional Collaboration • Work within Insights COE to align methodologies and reporting • Coordinate with Channel and Customer teams to apply insights to execution • Support innovation validation efforts by providing category context and macro trends • Insights Delivery • Be resourceful in building insights and stories using limited or incomplete data • Recommend practical solutions grounded in the realities of customer environments Education and Skill Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, analytics, or related field • 4–6 years experience in Category Management or CPG insights • Proficiency with Nielsen or Circana platforms • Experience presenting directly to retailers in formal and informal settings • Strong analytical skills and ability to simplify data for action • Ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and operate in fast-paced growth environment Position Type/Expected Hours of Work/Physical Requirements This is a full-time position and may require long hours and may require weekend and nights work per events. • Travel Requirements: 25% • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard reach, stoop kneel to install computer equipment. • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work. • Light to moderate lifting is required. • Ability to uphold the stress of traveling. • Regular, predictable attendance is required; including quarter-driven hours as business demands dictate. • Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone, and printers, light traffic). • Ability to work in a confined area. • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Job Summary The Manager of FP&A is a key member of the Finance team, responsible for driving financial planning, analysis, and reporting with a particular focus on Operations and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS). This role will support areas such as warehousing, logistics, transportation, fulfillment, and margin visibility across channels, customers, and products. The FP&A Manager will also play a supporting role in the growth of our Amazon business, including analysis of promotional strategies, cost comparisons, and revenue forecasting. This high-impact, cross-functional role partners closely with Finance, Operations, Accounting, IT, and commercial teams to enhance financial accuracy, strengthen data integrity, develop automated reporting solutions, and enable data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong financial acumen, exceptional analytical ability, and the capability to turn complex datasets into actionable insights. Job Details Key Responsibilities: Serve as a strategic finance partner to the Operations team, with emphasis on shipping, logistics, and fulfillment. Support annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and month-end close processes for key operational areas. Lead monthly margin reporting by channel; develop enhanced margin visibility reporting tools and dashboards. Maintain and improve reporting for performance monitoring, variance analysis, and product/category-level profitability. Manage and analyze margins at the customer, channel, and product levels. Support Amazon channel performance through pricing analysis, promotional planning, and revenue forecasting. Assist with cost comparisons and financial evaluation of Amazon fulfillment and DTC fulfillment strategies. Design and implement automated BI-driven reporting solutions to streamline financial workflows. Evaluate existing processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement automation to improve speed and data accuracy. Ensure data consistency and integrity across financial systems and reports. Partner closely with Operations, Accounting, IT, and other teams to align financial insights with business objectives. Contribute to process improvement initiatives across the finance function. Education and Skill Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline. 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, financial reporting, or business intelligence. Advanced Excel proficiency (expert level). Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting structures, and forecasting methodologies. Experience with BI tools, dashboards, and data modeling. Ability to translate business needs into clear analytical and reporting requirements. Proficiency with NetSuite or similar ERP systems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present to senior leadership. High attention to detail and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. U.S. military veteran status is a plus.
