Lead SAP architecture and ERP transformation initiatives for a Fortune 100 client, engaging CXO-level stakeholders and designing integrated SAP solutions across supply chain and finance domains. | 12+ years SAP architecture experience with expertise in SAP S/4HANA, BRIM, BTP, integration, merger initiatives, and strong executive communication skills. | Job Title: SAP Architect – Supply Chain & SAP S/4HANA (Client-Facing, Houston-Based, Business Front-ending skills) Location: Houston, TX (Onsite 3 days/ Hybrid) Position Overview: Birlasoft is seeking a highly experienced SAP Architect with deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA, Supply Chain, Finance, Order Management, Parts & Service, BTP, and SAP BRIM, to play a pivotal client-facing role in defining and driving the SAP roadmap for a Fortune 100 customer. This is a strategic position based in Houston, focused on ERP transformation, acquired company’s integration, and competitive positioning against competition Key Responsibilities: • Serve as the client-facing SAP architect, engaging directly with business and IT executives to define strategic ERP transformation initiatives. • Design and propose an integrated SAP roadmap across core domains including: • Order Management • Parts & Service • Supply Chain Planning • Architect (SAP SCM background) and present solutions leveraging SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP and/or SAP BRIM, • Support integration initiatives post-merger, aligning ERP strategies to future-state operating models. • Act as the ERP strategic advisor, helping position Birlasoft as a preferred transformation partner and counter competition’s footprint in the client’s supply chain technology ecosystem. • Collaborate with practice leads, domain architects, and partner stakeholders to shape winning solutions and SOWs. • Drive early engagement, influencing client roadmaps, RFP shaping, and program governance structures. • Maintain strong knowledge of emerging SAP innovations and competitive benchmarks. Required Skills & Experience: • 12+ years of experience in SAP architecture and transformation roles. • Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA across Supply Chain, Finance, and Order Management. • Experience in designing solutions using SAP BRIM and SAP BTP. • Understanding of integration with platforms • Experience working on merger/integration initiatives preferred. • Ability to engage CXOs and VP-level stakeholders with confidence and clarity. • Strong consulting and pre-sales mindset with a focus on solution storytelling. • Excellent communication and executive presentation skills. Preferred Qualifications: • SAP certifications in relevant modules (S/4, BRIM, BTP) preferred. • Experience in Hi-Tech or Manufacturing industry verticals. • Background in working with large global IT services or consulting firms. SAPIENS REINSURANC MASTER EXPERIENCE MUST Implementation and Integration Experience • Lead the end-to-end BSA role for implementation of the reinsurance processing software. • Ensure seamless integration with existing systems and processes. • Manage requirements in data migration, system configuration, and customization as required. • Assist in data quality and reconciliation and other QA help. Others • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in BA, with experience in handling large scale transformation involving multiple systems across various geographical locations. • Solid understanding of reinsurance transactions, including Treaty, Facultative, and Excess of Loss • Prior experience with reinsurance software implementation, Reinsurance Master from Sapiens. • Work with other IT analysts, developers, the vendor, and business users as required. • Manage business stakeholder expectations and address any concerns or issues promptly from business need prospective. • Good understanding of cloud computing and delivery models • Experience in supporting reinsurance/financial close process • Well versed with policy and claim lifecycle and impact of these on the reinsurance process Skills: • Strong BA skills, including communication skills. • Very Strong Excel skills • Demonstrated expertise with SQL • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. • Proficiency in BA tools and software. Preferred Qualifications: • Strong understanding of reinsurance processes, systems, and industry best practices. • Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies. • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in the insurance sector.
