Lead and execute sales strategy, develop high-performing sales teams, and build customer relationships to drive revenue growth. | 12+ years of B2B sales experience, 6+ years leading sales teams, success in closing complex deals, strong strategic and communication skills. | Senior Director, Sales The Senior Director, Sales will own the strategy, execution, and performance of a core sales segment at Billtrust. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, refining go-to-market execution, and building strong, long-term customer relationships across a high-impact segment of the business. The Sr. Director will lead and develop a team that includes both people managers and individual contributor sales professionals, foster a high-performance culture, and partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver measurable results. Success in this role will be measured by new business acquisition, customer expansion, pipeline health, customer satisfaction, and sustained revenue growth. What You’ll Do Lead and execute sales strategy for the assigned segment, ensuring consistent achievement and overachievement of revenue targets. Identify and prioritize target accounts with strong growth potential; design effective sales plays and outreach strategies aligned to buyer needs. Provide hands-on leadership for high-value opportunities, including deal strategy, executive presentations, proposal development, and contract negotiations. Partner closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to align messaging, positioning, and offerings to customer needs and market demand. Hire, coach, and develop a high-performing sales organization, establishing clear goals, KPIs, and regular performance management rhythms. Analyze pipeline health, win/loss trends, and market feedback to continuously refine sales strategy and improve forecasting accuracy. Drive strong pipeline hygiene through disciplined CRM usage, accurate deal tracking, and consistent inspection across all sales stages. Serve as a market-facing leader with a strong understanding of customer challenges, buying behaviors, and competitive dynamics. Represent Billtrust externally with customers, partners, and at industry events as needed to support growth and brand presence. What You’ll Bring 12+ years of progressive B2B sales experience with a consistent record of exceeding revenue targets. 6+ years of experience leading, scaling, and developing sales teams, including people managers and senior ICs. Proven success closing complex, high-value deals and building trusted executive-level relationships. Strong strategic mindset with the ability to leverage data and insights to inform decisions and drive execution. Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills. Collaborative, customer-first leader with demonstrated cross-functional partnership experience. Compensation The expected base salary range for this position is $180,000 – $230,000 annually. Compensation may vary based on qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location. The Senior Manager, Tax & Treasury delivers the business partnership necessary to drive our business strategy forward, while adequately planning for new tax compliance requirements and working capital needs. This leader will own cross-border international tax planning, direct and indirect tax compliance, and liquidity management, through the support of an internal team and external firms as needed. Your first initiatives will include leadership roles in legal entity rationalization efforts, global system integrations and the centralization of cash forecasting. As our first in-house Tax & Treasury leader, you will communicate to cross-functional peers the importance of the tax function in such initiatives, highlighting risks or possible tax advantages. This is a rare opportunity to establish a high-performing function, define process and technology, and directly shape the future of how Billtrust manages its global tax and treasury operations. What You’ll Do: Lead cross-border intercompany tax compliance and treasury operations, including transfer price agreements, intercompany agreements, intercompany transactions, global cash forecasting and global cash management Oversee US Domestic (Federal and State) and International Income Tax compliance Supervise the completion of indirect tax filings including but not limited to US Sales Tax returns and VAT tax returns Oversee and mentor a team responsible for Tax filings, support of international Statutory Filings, Liquidity Management, and Treasury. Mentor and manage performance to ensure high standards of compliance and working capital management Manage external tax firms and banking relationships. Maintain the annual budget with respect to Tax and Treasury and lead operational reviews to maintain a high standard of service Research tax regulations, customer or vendor inquiries related to tax matters, and changes to our tax compliance landscape Review or assist in preparation of the Tax Provision to Tax Return reconciliation and US GAAP or Local Statutory Book to Tax reconciliations Design and implement processes, systems, policies, and internal controls to strengthen Tax and Treasury governance Perform a leadership role in Company-wide transformation initiatives Regularly collaborate with cross-functional partners across in Legal, FP&A, Accounting, Business Systems, People (Human Resources) and Sales to adequately plan for tax compliance and working capital needs Provide financial analysis that supports a timely financial close and forecast, as well as strategic decision making What You’ll Bring to the Team: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Taxation, Accounting, or related field CPA or Chartered Accountant preferred 8+ years of progressive experience in tax functions, ideally in a SaaS or PE-Backed environment Proven knowledge of international tax laws and intercompany accounting 2 years tax experience required from a Big 4 or mid-tier firm (Deloitte, KPMG, PwC, EY, BDO, RSM, Grant Thornton) Project management and leadership skills, translating annual compliance goals into daily to quarterly KPI execution Comfortable working in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment Strong collaboration and communication skills Roll-up-your-sleeves attitude — willing to both lead strategically and execute tactically The expected base salary range for this position is $155,000 - $170,000 annually.
