New Publishers work with our Market Development team to determine their market. The Publisher’s primary role is to ensure the revenue health of the magazine, and they also have a hand in overseeing content and miscellaneous components of the magazine. The most important aspect of maintaining a flourishing magazine is presenting print and digital advertising opportunities to local businesses in and around the market. We provide support and training to new Publishers on all tasks involved with starting and running the publication. No previous experience is required as we provide full training, however, we have found Publishers who possess these qualities will most likely be successful in this position: outgoing, professional, confident, enthusiastic, empathetic, resilient, honest, community-oriented, and passionate. This position pays recurring, residual commission with no ceiling, so you have the opportunity to build a solid and healthy income.
