The position ensures all properties are in good condition and maintains responsibility for timely completion of all required repairs. Schedule: Day shift (Monday - Friday) or (Tuesday-Saturday) or (Sunday - Thursday) Hours: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm or 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Location: Oakland Looking to hire 1-2 property maintenance Techs in Oakland. It is a 40 Unit in Oakland site, and we are in need of someone to work either Mon-Friday, Tues-Sat, or Sunday-Thur schedule. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Essential Functions): • Ensures agency properties are maintained in good condition. • Performs general/routine maintenance, inspection, cleaning, major/minor repairs, and painting of furnished/vacant units and ensures the units are in good rental condition. • Consults and communicates with program staff regarding any tenant problems with regard to housing concerns, property maintenance, and property improvement issues on a weekly basis. • Arranges for estimates, oversees and/or performs all major repairs and emergency repairs authorized by the Property Manager. • Maintains vendor listing and works to identify county-wide, cost effective vendors for routine needs such as gardening, cleaning, etc. • Conducts monthly site inspections at BACS operated facilities and reviews findings with manager. • Attends all trainings as required. • Inputs and retrieves work flow through a maintenance ticketing system which tracks trends, usage, and needs. • Responds to all facility emergencies same day and all non-urgent maintenance requests according to standard. • Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: • A minimum of three years of property maintenance experience is required. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The position requires lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds. Must possess own equipment and tools necessary to perform the work. The position requires the ability to see, hear and speak. ENVIRONMENTAL/WORKING CONDITIONS: The work is performed at program sites throughout Alameda County. EQUIPMENT USED: A variety of tools, hand truck, dolly, computer, keyboard, telephone. Conduct outreach and provide therapeutic case management, crisis intervention, housing navigation, and benefits support to chronically homeless individuals in Alameda County. | High school diploma with 4 years of mental health/social services experience (or 1 year customer service), valid CA driver's license and vehicle, extensive local travel, and lived experience preferred. | The Outreach Care Coordinator, working in a team of two, conducts outreach in designated regions throughout Northern Alameda County. They are responsible for developing and providing high quality therapeutic interventions and services in support of an individual’s wellness and recovery. Services include strength-based and needs-based therapeutic case management, problem-solving, therapeutic rehabilitation including skills-building, benefits support, resource development, housing navigation, crisis intervention, and family support. This is a community-based position providing direct, face-to-face services to individuals who are chronically homeless and travel throughout Alameda County is required. Full time positions available in the following cities: Oakland / Alameda County Schedules: (Sun-Thurs) (Tues-Sat) Responsibilities: • Street Outreach team consists of 2 or more and engagement team will conduct outreach in designated regions throughout Northern Alameda County. • Responsible and attend to basic needs prioritize services for those with complex physical, mental and substance use conditions, that result in barriers accessing services. • Assisting in removing barriers with healthcare services for unhoused homeless population. • Responsible for attending to basic needs prioritizing health, linkage referral and triage, crisis intervention, housing services and eligible medical services and treatments. • Responsible for development and delivery of a full complement of services, including individual, family, group counseling, individual rehabilitation and case management/brokerage for individuals within the Care Coordinator's caseload as assigned. • Responsible for utilizing Evidence Based Practice for the designated population/program to assure high quality results and intended impact. • Responsible for continuously assessing individual’s risk status including risk based on symptoms, substance use, environment, physical conditions, etc and intervening appropriately. • Responsible for assessing the continued service necessity and creating a service plan that aims at an individual getting better/healthy and accomplishing service goals that are person-centered and belong to the client. • Responsible for continuous outreach and progressive engagement and reporting disengagement to the team immediately. Responsible for working with outreach team and determining when to disenroll individual based on program protocols. • Responsible for domain-based assessment, screening referrals, service planning, community planning and benefit coordination which supports wellness and recovery principles. Responsible for care planning and therapeutic case management using a whatever it takes approach. • Documents and maintains all data collection, reporting, and charting records in accordance with BACS and other relevant county regulatory policies/agencies. Responsible for producing required number of regulatory units of service per month (65% of staff’s time must be providing face-to-face or other eligible community-based support). • Participates in supervision, staff meetings, consultation, travel, crisis/emergency coverage, weekend coverage, as well as, agency-wide meetings and training, as required by manager. • Able to work independently and as a member of a therapeutic team. • Is adaptable and open to change and new information; adapts behavior and work methods in response to new information, changing conditions, or unexpected obstacles. Adjusts rapidly to new situations warranting attention and resolution. • Is effective at balancing interests of a variety of clients; readily readjusts priorities to respond to pressing and changing client demands. Qualifications: • High School Diploma required and must have 4 years of paid work experience in mental health/social services (1 year of customer services may be substituted). Degree is preferred. • Previous Lived Experience. • Valid California driver’s license, personal vehicle, and proof of personal vehicle insurance coverage. DMV printout required. • Extensive local travel is required.
