Distribution Key Account Manager   Remote Pay Range: $150000 to $170000 yearly.    The role requires availability to work on Central or Eastern Time schedules.   We are looking for a Distribution Key Account Manager to join our intermediates team.   Come create chemistry with us!   With more than 600 products in its portfolio, in particular amines, diols, polyalcohols, acids and specialties, the Intermediates division offers innovative solutions for a wide range of industries – from coatings and plastics to pharmaceuticals and crop protection.   The Intermediates Americas division is seeking a Distribution Key Account Manager for the United States to be the leader at the assigned accounts, who will consistently drive and find new business opportunities and strive to support organic growth targets within their assigned product categories. Managing and steering the specified key accounts with global consultation. Leading / participating in meetings for significant customer problem resolution.  Being the first point of contact for the BASF CI Americas Division and work to raise awareness of issues. Additionally, you will align between regions and business functions for resolution in the promptest manner appropriate. Providing forecasts (both short- and long-term) to the relevant to CI SBUs. While building relationships which enable you, as the Key Account Manager, to deeply understand their culture, vision, and economic drivers to educate CIN and develop a Key Account Plan to drive strategic growth. Setting short & long-term growth targets, monitor performance, and initiate corrective actions. Collaborating across functions and various levels to ensure alignment of targets and activities across CIN. Influencing others while organizing, leading negotiations of prices/contracts, and developing/executing strategies to grow profitable business at the specified key accounts. Providing market intelligence by bringing information about industries, competitors, and customers back into the organization. Partnering across all BASF business functions to identify and capitalize upon qualified opportunities in the targeted portfolios.
