Barbaricum is currently seeking a Data Scientist to join our team, focusing on the technical evaluation of data elements, prime object names, and other critical data objects. This role involves the meticulous assessment of proposed objects and their attributes to ensure clarity, technical correctness, and consistency with established data and process models. The successful candidate will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of data definitions, values, and domains, playing a crucial role in shaping our data governance and data management practices. Responsibilities: • Technical Evaluation: Provide technical support in evaluating prime object names, data elements, and other objects to ensure they meet project requirements and standards. • Object and Attribute Evaluation: Evaluate proposed objects and their attributes for clarity, conciseness, technical correctness, and singularity of concepts. • Data Integrity Assurance: Ensure that the values of object attributes and their domains are accurate, correct, and consistent with the overall data and process models. • Data Dictionary Maintenance: Create and maintain a comprehensive data dictionary that serves as a reference for the organization, ensuring all data elements are well-documented and easily accessible. • Consistency and Compliance: Ensure proposed objects are consistent with existing data models and process models, adhering to best practices in data management and governance. • Collaboration and Guidance: Work closely with data architects, analysts, and other stakeholders, providing expertise and guidance on data object definitions and structures.
