Accurately select, handle, and stage food products in compliance with safety and FDA standards while maintaining warehouse organization and documentation. | At least 1 year warehouse experience, ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks, knowledge of safety regulations, physical ability to lift and stand for long periods, and attention to detail. | Description The Warehouse Associate plays a critical role in supporting Baldor Specialty Foods' daily operations by ensuring the accurate selection, movement, and loading of fresh food products in a fast-paced distribution environment. This position requires strong attention to detail, consistent productivity, and adherence to food-safety and FDA compliance standards. Repetitive lifting, visual identification, and knowledge of proper labeling and product handling are essential. Team members must consistently select, scan, and stage products with speed, accuracy, and care. Key Responsibilities • Accurately select and pick products from designated warehouse locations (bins, racks, and shelves). • Handle, pack, and stage all food products safely, carefully, and in accordance with sanitary and FDA-compliant standards. • Build, stack, and organize pallets for loading while preventing damage and maintaining product integrity. • Shrink-wrap completed pallets for final loading and outbound delivery. • Complete all required documentation, including pick sheets, productivity forms, order tags, and customer-specific labels. • Maintain proper housekeeping and cleanliness throughout all work areas to ensure compliance with OSHA, FDA, and Baldor safety guidelines. • Safely operate warehouse equipment such as electric pallet jacks, forklifts, and manual pallet jacks (training provided). • Report any damaged, missing, or incorrect items to the supervisor immediately. • Receive and pick orders accurately from order sheets or RF scanners. • Assist with unloading inbound OTR trucks, breaking down pallets, and replenishing stock. • Pack, unpack, and stock items in an organized and efficient manner to support workflow and delivery readiness. • Inspect products and packaging for quality, defects, or damage; notify supervisors of any issues. • Support general warehouse tasks including sorting, staging, inventory movement, and cleanup. Performance Expectations • Speed: Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume warehouse environment. • Accuracy: Consistently pick correct items, quantities, and customer-specific requirements. • Safety: Follow all warehouse, machinery, and food-safety protocols at all times. Requirements Requirements: • Great attention to detail. • Diligent and punctual. • Work at an acceptable speed to deliver proper sanitation as needed and required. • Food safety and safety awareness, and strong work ethic. • Ability to physically lift, push pull and stand for long periods of time without reasonable accommodations. • Knowledge of the field's policies, procedures, and practices. Education and Experience: • 1+ years of proven work experience working in a warehouse or similar role. • Ability to read English Language at High School 9th grade level. • Prior warehousing experience in a food environment preferred. • Familiarity with inventory management systems and procedures. • Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. • Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in a warehouse setting. • Strong mathematical and analytical skills for inventory tracking and record-keeping. Technology Skills: • RF Scanner Work Environment: • Ability to lift over 50lbs and stand and maintain active for long periods of time without reasonable accommodation. • Ability to work extended hours as needed. • Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed. • Comfortable working in refrigerated/freezer warehouse environment.

Efficiently select, handle, package, and move food products in a warehouse environment while maintaining safety and sanitation standards. | Requires prior warehouse experience, ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks, physical ability to lift heavy items, and adherence to safety and sanitation protocols. | Description The Warehouse Associate Part Time at Baldor DC is responsible for the efficient movement, selecting, loading of food products, accurate scanning, accurate transactions, timely documentation and maintenance of the facility up to FDA standards. Repetitive lifting, visual identification, and an understanding of labeling practices are key fundamentals. Individual is required to accurately select and carefully handle product as effectively and efficiently as possible. Primary Responsibilities include: • Select proper product from designated warehouse area (bins/shelves) • Handle and package product carefully and in a sanitary manner • At the supervisor's discretion, stack product for loading with care for potential damage control • Build pallets • Shrink wrap finished pallets for final loading • Complete pick documentation, productivity worksheets, and identify product selected for individual customers • Maintain proper housekeeping standards for all work areas • Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner at all times • Report any product damage or loss to supervisor • Receive and pick orders from order sheet • Unload the OTR truck • Break the pallet • Pack and unpack items to be stocked on pallets for delivery • Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses. • Maintain clean work environment order to ensure compliance with safety regulations • Examine and inspect stock items for defects, reporting any damage to supervisors • Operate a forklift and/or a pallet jack, to transport items from one location to another location Speed, accuracy and safety are paramount to successfully meet the requirements of the position Physical Requirements: Requires the ability to do repetitive lifting of 5 to 20 lbs. constantly, 15 to 30 lbs. frequently, and 30 to 50 lbs. occasionally. Must be able to stand and walk 7 to 10 hours per day. Equipment/Programs used to Perform Job: Powered pallet jacks, hand pumping jacks, stock picker, forklift, box cutter, RF Scanner Education / Skills: • Ability to read English language at High School 9th grade level • Prior warehousing experience in a food environment preferred • Electric pallet jack, order picker Working Conditions: • Normal warehouse conditions. The employee is subject to repetitive bending, lifting and moving up to 100 pounds. • The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. • The employee must be able to work in various temperatures, freezer (-35), grocery, and cooler (30 to 40 degrees Fahrenheit). • The employee must be able to stand, walk and climb stairs for extended periods of time. • The employee must be mobile. • Employees in all warehouse positions must be able to immediately perceive auditory warning signals such as bells, alarms, and horns that are used to warn employees of the start-up, movement, or approach of equipment (including forklifts, turrets, overhead cranes, conveyors, trucks, and other equipment operated inside or outside the warehouse), mechanical abnormalities, and similar risk situations during warehouse operations. • Must submit to and pass a drug screen.
