Client Engagement Executive at BairesDev The Client Engagement Executive will be responsible for seeking new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with Leads and converting those Leads into Clients. This role involves travel as well as lead/client-facing interactions and meetings over time. Though this is an individual contributor position, you will be part of a group of other executives, allowing you to experience teamwork and collaboration. Of note, previous commercial leadership experience is considered a plus as there are continuous opportunities for leadership roles for top performers. What You'll Do: - Respond quickly and efficiently to a high volume of inbound leads. - Proactively seek new sales opportunities through cold calling, emails, networking and social media. - Effectively present our company to potential clients through remote and in-person meetings. - Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data. - Negotiate and close deals with new and existing clients. What we are looking for: Mandatory: - Minimum of 5 years B2B Field sales experience targeting US clientele. - Proven results of closing deals and developing long term relationships with clients. - Experience hunting new clients, cold calling and closing deals. - Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques. - Must be located in San Francisco or New York. Desirable: - Experience selling staff augmentation services (on-site or off-shore). - Knowledge of SDLC terminology, processes and roles. - Similar positions in companies that offer software development outsourcing industry. - Experience working in a remote environment. - Experience with LATAM software outsourcing. - Recent, relevant Sales Team management experience. Senior Google Cloud Practice Director at BairesDev We are seeking an experienced Senior Google Cloud Practice Director to co-lead the launch of our new Google Cloud practice. This strategic role combines technical expertise with business development, requiring you to drive presales activities, lead initial project deliveries, and build out our Google Cloud capabilities. You'll work with enterprise clients to architect solutions while developing our practice's frameworks, team structure, and delivery excellence. What You'll Do: Presales Leadership & Pursuit Support: - Lead technical workshops, whiteboard sessions, and architecture planning with enterprise clients. - Collaborate with commercial leads to create solution proposals, estimates, SOWs, and roadmaps aligned to Google Cloud best practices. - Build trust with VP and C-level stakeholders through direct engagement and expert solution guidance. Early Project Delivery & Billable Engagement: - Initially, spend approximately 30-40% of your time on billable client work to bootstrap the practice while helping close anchor accounts. - Serve as technical lead on delivery for the first 1-2 engagements to ensure excellence and establish referenceability. - Guide the handoff to LATAM engineering pods and maintain technical oversight as projects scale. Practice & Studio Buildout: - Define reusable frameworks, delivery patterns, and accelerators focused on Google Cloud adoption for retail, CPG, and other verticals. - Partner with recruiting and engineering leadership to hire, coach, and structure the practice's future architects and pod leads. - Help design certification uplift and training plans across LATAM teams to meet partner tier goals. What we are looking for: Mandatory Requirements: - 5+ years in architecture roles. - 5+ years in a consulting/services environment. - Experience in presales support, client workshops, RFP response, and proposal delivery. - Proven ability to engage VPs, CIOs, CTOs, and business stakeholders in both technical and strategic discussions. - Google Professional Cloud Architect certification (minimum required). - Experience designing and delivering complex GCP solutions (BigQuery, GKE, Vertex AI, Pub/Sub, etc.). - Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), security best practices, and hybrid/cloud-native architectures. - Advanced level of English.
