Job Summary of the Sales Representative The Sales Representative will work with the Area Managers to achieve sales revenue targets and grow market share for a specified territory by promoting, selling and servicing Axogen’s portfolio of nerve repair products. The Sales Rep will also practice good, ethical territory management in terms of organization, planning administration and expense planning and control. They need to increase sales and revenue by aggressively targeting and developing existing as well as new accounts. The Sales Rep will also train appropriate medical staff on Axogen products and procedures as well as meet expectations as defined by the Sales Management Team. Job Requirements of the Sales Representative Bachelor’s degree required 2+ years sales experience; medical device experience preferred Computer literacy; good written and verbal communication skills Willing to travel as necessary Must reside in the territory Job Responsibilities of the Sales Representative The specific duties of the Sales Representative include but are not limited to: Develop and maintain accurate account and territory records Effectively manage time to ensure maximum coverage of targeted accounts within territory in order to achieve optimum level of exposure and results Develop and act on plans which identify growth opportunities within current and competitive customer accounts Manage field inventory to optimally balance availability of product with inventory costs Control and manage expenses in the most cost effective manner for the company Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal/external key decision makers, customers and their staff, administrative staff, etc. Plan, implement and deliver effective sales/product presentations to customers, defining objectives and measuring success Probe to understand and confirm customers’ needs, handle objections and gain commitment Proactively develop knowledge, skills and abilities in all relevant areas i.e. clinical, technical, product and sales skills Participate in product and skill development programs and activities such as classroom education, role playing, on-th-job training, and other relevant activities that assist in the development of the team and yourself Adherence with all company policies and procedures i.e. Sunshine Act, AdvaMed, etc. Compliance with all safety standards, policies and regulations Compliance with all company policies, procedures and SOPs Territory Orlando, Kissimmee, Winter Park, and Melbourne #LI-AC1 Benefits/Compensation The anticipated target compensation for base plus commission is ~$120k (uncapped). Job Summary of the Field Market Development Manager The Market Development Manager (MDM) will be responsible for developing and executing strategic market development initiatives for Axogen's OMF/H&N business. Through direct engagement with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and stakeholders in the most prominent and high potential Oral Maxillofacial and Head & Neck Academic Medical Centers, the MDM will be required to execute market development initiatives that help position Axogen as the Standard-of-Care for peripheral nerve repair in these markets. Through detailed understanding of the surgical procedure and customer needs the MDM will define our unique value proposition as well as establish and train Axogen field sales team on best practice sales processes while collaborating cross functionally to coordinate and execute market development initiatives that build brand and therapy awareness as well as belief in the Axogen nerve repair algorithm. With a strong emphasis on building and maintaining KOL relationships in assigned accounts and regions, the MDM will build advocacy and P2P influencers that drive awareness and adoption of the Axogen nerve repair algorithm in our focus accounts. Ultimately, through therapy awareness, education, and advocacy the MDM will aid in expanding Axogen's footprint and adoption in targeted OMF/H&N procedures.
