Lead key account relationships and support business development by managing project planning and delivery of capital projects. | Over 10 years experience in engineering, construction, or project development with client account management and a bachelor's degree; PE license preferred. | Position Summary Audubon is seeking a Senior Account Manager / Project Manager to serve as a full-time leader supporting business development, project strategy, and technical execution for key accounts. This role will focus primarily on managing client relationships and overseeing project management processes, providing guidance and support for proposals, project planning, and market development activities. The Senior Account Manager / Project Manager will work and collaborate with Audubon’s engineering, construction, estimating, procurement, and business development teams to ensure successful project delivery and enhance client satisfaction. Tasks and Responsibilities The Senior Account Manager / Project Manager will: * Lead the management of key account opportunities and relationships. * Support Audubon’s business development efforts by identifying market opportunities, client needs, and project drivers. * Advise internal teams on project requirements, risks, constructability, execution strategies, and technical considerations. * Facilitate client discussions, technical presentations, proposal development, and pursuit strategies. * Review scopes of work, project requirements, technical documents, and proposal materials for accuracy and completeness. * Oversee project planning, feasibility assessments, conceptual studies, and capital project development. * Evaluate project opportunities, including technical fit, execution approach, risks, and resource needs. * Collaborate with engineering, procurement, construction, estimating, and project management teams to ensure seamless project execution. * Share market intelligence related to client projects and strategic account management, enhancing project strategies. Required Qualifications * 10+ years of experience in engineering, construction, operations, consulting, or project development. * Direct project management experience with client accounts and complex projects. * Strong understanding of capital projects, including engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup. * Experience managing projects related to facility upgrades, process improvements, and major equipment installations. * Proven ability to lead project teams and drive successful project execution. * Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work independently in a full-time remote management role. * Availability to participate in virtual meetings, client discussions, and occasional travel if required. Preferred Qualifications * Four-year ABET-accredited degree preferred. * Professional Engineering license preferred. * Prior experience with EPC, EPCM, engineering consulting, construction, or owner/operator organizations. * Experience supporting proposals, procurement, technical reviews, feasibility studies, and project execution planning. * Established relationships within relevant industries and key account management. * Knowledge of sustainability initiatives, project management best practices, and client relationship strategies. Working Conditions This is a full-time position. Work will primarily be performed from a home office environment with regular virtual interaction with Audubon teams and clients. Occasional travel may be required for client meetings, project site visits, workshops, or industry events. Manage pre-award and post-award procurement activities including tender issuance, supplier management, contract negotiation, and progress reporting. | Requires experience in procurement and contract management, knowledge of sourcing strategies, supplier relations, ERP proficiency, and preferably capital project experience. | Audubon is currently seeking a Buyer, Sr to join our team in the Houston area. The Buyer, Sr will be responsible for providing comprehensive pre-award and post-award procurement services in support of the Companys long-lead goods and services requirements. This role requires consistent onsite presence (minimum of three days per week) to ensure close coordination with Company stakeholders and alignment with project objectives. Primary Responsibilities : Pre-Award Services • Document Review and Development - Review and prepare bid lists, scopes of work, pricing schedules, specifications, drawings, and related documentation to ensure completeness and clarity prior to tender issuance. • Tender Management - Draft and issue RFQs and ITTs in accordance with Company templates; manage tender processes including clarifications and evaluations. • Contract Clarifications - Prepare draft responses to bidder contract clarifications for subsequent Company legal review and approval. • Negotiation Facilitation - Facilitate negotiations with tenderers in the presence of, and under the direction of, Company representatives. • Contract Award - Support the development of award recommendations; facilitate the contract award process. Final approvals remain the sole responsibility of the Company. Post-Award Services • Supplier management (progress and expenditure tracking). • Expediting to ensure compliance with delivery requirements. • Logistics coordination. • Oversight and administration of quality audits mandated by the Company. Deliverables • Regular progress reports on procurement activities. • Formal bid tabulation and evaluation reports. • Drafts and final versions of RFPs, RFQs, and contracts. • A log of all change orders. • Final contract close-out documentation. • Any other deliverables required by the Company. Health, Safety, And Environmental Responsibilities • All employees are responsible for supporting Audubon Companies Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures. This includes: • Performing duties in a manner that protects personal and team health and safety • Participating in required HSE training, meetings, and reporting activities • Identifying and reporting hazards, near misses, and unsafe conditions • Following safe work practices and complying with applicable regulatory requirements Experience And Skill Requirements : High school diploma or GED. Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Management, Logistics or related field highly desired or equivalent work experience in purchasing and supply chain. Product knowledge of all materials and services being purchased, what is being built and supplier base required. Demonstrates complete understanding of project procurement process, procedures and terminology, sourcing strategy, commercial terms, applicable laws and regulations, the Companys Code of Business Conduct and other Company policies and procedures. Advanced understanding of economic factors which affect project costs, schedule and profit impact of decisions. Progressive experience in procurement / contracting, supplier quality and business systems, and development and implementation of sourcing strategies. Experience with bid evaluation, purchase negotiation and commercial recommendation. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with suppliers. Ability to persuade individuals with differing opinions or interest to change criteria or methods, accept findings or reach agreement on a variety of technical or commercial points. Proficiency with Procurement Software, ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software and MS Office including Word, Excel and/or Access, PowerPoint with ability to download, manipulate and report data. Ability to pay close attention to details. Demonstrated experience in procurement and contract management for major capital projec s, preferably within the energy sector.
