This role serves to build relationships with independent primary care practices and local partners to establish and expand Astrana Health’s network in new markets, while also supporting growth in existing markets. Serving as a consultative accountable care expert, this role will recruit practices to participate in government value-based care contracts as well as potentially helping to onboard them into the ACO program operationally. This role will be accountable for achieving annual growth targets. What You'll Do • Work directly with Group VP to understand strategy and develop solid execution plans. • Engage with prospective practices in a consultative manner to evaluate fit and secure commitment to participate in the optimal ACO within Astrana Health’s portfolio. • Build rapport with clinical and business staff of prospective practices, understand their needs and goals, teach them about Astrana Health, deliver financial benefits analyses, illustrate the opportunities of participating in Astrana Health’s ACO REACH or MSSP programs. • Conduct outbound prospecting and respond to inbound leads for assigned market. • Extend and negotiate participation agreements (contracts) • Document notes, activities and provide updates on recruitment progress within shared systems such as Monday.com. • Report and track your progress against goals to effectively manage your pipeline. • Establish and manage strategic growth plans in collaboration with ACO team leaders, leverage data to prioritize prospects and outline initiatives and tactics to achieve growth goals. • Onboard newly recruited practices to the program (e.g., as work transitions from recruitment to operations), and help support them until the longer term operational plan is solidified within the given market. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field (advanced degree preferred). • 8+ years of experience in healthcare growth leadership, preferably in ACO settings. • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance requirements, and quality improvement methodologies. • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams. • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills. • Strategic thinker with a focus on achieving business goals and driving operational excellence. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment • Other duties as assigned. Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions • This will be a remote role, expected to work from home and be out in the respective territory as needed. • The annual total compensation target pay range for this role is: $160,000 - $180,000. Our Values: • Patients First • Empowering the Independent Provider • Be Innovative • Operate with Integrity & Deliver Excellence • Team of One What You'll Do What You'll Do: • Respond to inbound calls from members, providers, health plans, brokers, and hospitals • Provide information and resolve inquiries related to authorizations, claims, eligibility, and benefits • Document all interactions in the company’s customer service system • Assist with appointment scheduling, member outreach, and provider coordination • Support walk-in members and help resolve concerns in person • Arrange transportation for Medicare/Medi-Cal members when needed • Handle special projects such as outreach campaigns, member surveys, and concierge support for new members • Communicate professionally and maintain confidentiality at all times Key Responsibilities Inbound Support • Verify eligibility, authorizations, claims, and demographic updates • Address member/provider complaints and grievances • Assist with pharmacy, lab, urgent care, and provider network inquiries • Support Medicare-specific needs such as AOR requests, AWV scheduling, and urgent notifications Outbound Support • Conduct follow-up calls for authorizations, benefits, complaints, and billing resolution • Provide translation support (Spanish/Chinese) for DME and appointment confirmations • Assist with outreach projects, surveys, and case management follow-ups Concierge Services • Welcome and support new members, including PCP assignment and network guidance • Coordinate with providers, health plans, and internal teams on complex cases • Facilitate billing/claims support and problem-solving for escalated issues Qualifications • High School Diploma or GED • 1+ year of customer service experience (healthcare setting preferred) • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook • Strong communication and problem-solving skills • Bilingual in English and Cantonese Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions • This role follows an onsite work structure where the expectation is to work in-office on a weekly basis. The position is located in San Francisco, Daly City, and Burlingame. • The total compensation pay range for this role is $52,000 - $58,000.
