Manage and develop sales strategies for the Midwest region, oversee key accounts, and lead sales efforts to meet revenue targets. | Requires 10+ years of experience in aftermarket sales or related fields, with 3-5 years in management and sales for Warehouse Distributor accounts, and a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or related field. | Summary: The WD Sales Manager Mid West position will handle the Midwest US states (IL, OH, MO, MN, AR, TX, OK, LA KY, TN ) for Astemo Americas, Inc. You will be responsible to promote and create new sales inside the region to meet sales revenue and profit targets. You will lead independent sales representative to increase sales and manage existing customer business by providing key performance metrics. You will visit customers frequently to update them on our program, educate them on our product, and close sales opportunities to meet budget requirements. You will work closely with marketing, production control and logistics to ensure timely delivery of products to customers. You will prepare annual budget and monthly forecast to measure results. Essential Functions: Support the development and execution of the sales strategy and action plan for the Warehouse Distributor division to drive growth. • Pursue growth through management of key accounts, identifying new opportunities and increasing sales presence. • Prepare weekly and monthly sales status reports • Meet sales financial objectives - prepare an annual budget, forecast requirements, analyze variances. • Project expected sales volume and profit for existing and new programs; analyzing trends and results; recommending pricing strategies; monitoring costs, competition, supply, and demand. • Establish and sustain rapport with key accounts through regular visits, exploring specific needs and anticipating new opportunities. • Work closely with Marketing Dept. to plan, develop, implement, and evaluate advertising, merchandising, and trade promotion programs as well as support industry shows • Set key performance metrics for outside Sales Rep Agencies, and track progress through monthly reports. Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Experience with key account sales structures • Proficient in building and maintaining relationships for successful sales growth • Aptitude for preparation of monthly management reports and annual forecasts for budgeting • Detail oriented, with strong organizational skills • Excellent interpersonal, verbal / written communication and presentation skills required • Proficient in Microsoft applications – Excel, Word, PowerPoint Additionally, the ability to work independently with minimal direction is required as are strong/effective verbal and written communication skills. Education: Possess a bachelor’s degree Business Administration, Sales or other related field. Experience: 10 years overall experience in Aftermarket Sales or related fields. 3-5 years of experience in management and sales for Warehouse Distributor accounts. Job level determined by various factors such as organization size, responsibility, career stage, and capabilities. Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A Working conditions: Physical Demands: Required to sit or stand for long periods of time. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Have ability to work 40 – 60 hours per week. Travel: This position requires 50-75% travel. Domestic and international may be required as needed.

Astemo’s Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) Business Unit expertise includes various powertrain products which can be supplied as stand-alone components or as an integrated system for the ICE powertrain. Position Summary: This position will be part of the ICE Design Engineering (DE) group and will be responsible for design related activity of new ICE products and the redesign/support of current ICE products. This will include the creation, design, planning, and the coordination of multiple processes within the product development cycle used for automotive ICE engine products. This position offers opportunities to work with a wide variety of aspects of the development process, a wide variety of departments and levels of management within the company both domestic and international. Essential functions of this job include: • Lead the development/design activity of new ICE products. • Participate with global and regional Design Engineering organizations in engineering activities of ICE engine components: original design and development, design change management, design validation, production launch support and problem troubleshooting. • Interfaces with customers, suppliers, internal and external contacts to achieve project deliverables. Facilitate accurate & timely ICE program technical communication. • Lead design change development and implementation for future ICE products. • Conduct failure mode analysis and troubleshooting in product life cycle. • Create / revise 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings for products and their components. • Create / revise technical specifications for ICE products and their components. • Document, analyze, and communicate various types of technical data / information using industry standard software (e.g. Microsoft Office, SolidWorks). • Support internal ICE manufacturing sites for various Design Engineering functions during development and mass production timing. • Support various types of cost management and improvement activities. Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Skills): • 4 Year College Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field or equivalent experience and education. • Automotive related experience related to the design of products. • Demonstrate fluent English communication, strong initiative / motivation and problem-solving/troubleshooting skills. • Demonstrate ability to accurately document / analyze / communicate various types of data & information. • Possess good skills with a CAD program for 3D model and 2D drawing creation. • Capability to travel as needed to international and domestic destinations to support ICE program objectives. Some extended training or program support time in Japan/Europe/Mexico is a possibility. • Have experience with DFMEA or DRBFM (Design Review Based on Failure Mode). • Have practical work experience with ICE Engines. Preferred Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Skills): • Possess MS degree in a related engineering field. • Have a second language proficiency e.g. Japanese.
