The Senior Engineer plays a key role in accelerating how applications are tested, released, and deployed across our cloud environment. You will partner closely with development teams to automate workflows, optimize data pipelines, and improve reliability across our platforms. This role offers the opportunity to lead best practices, mentor junior engineers, and influence technical strategy in a growing cloud-focused organization.The Senior Engineer may also be responsible for building and maintaining optimized and highly available data pipelines that facilitate deeper analysis and reporting by the Data and Analytics department. The Senior Engineer will be responsible for mentoring and teaching existing team members. As such, the ideal candidate must have experience clearly explaining solutions to complex problems and demonstrate the ability to lead and impart knowledge effectively to junior resources. Key Accountabilities Automate application testing, deployment, and release processes to increase speed and reliability. Manage installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of cloud-based solutions. Develop scripts and tools (Python, Ruby, Java, C#, etc.) to support provisioning, monitoring, and automation. Build and maintain high-availability data pipelines that support analytics and reporting needs. Resolve implementation errors and perform diagnostic testing to ensure system performance. Collaborate with developers to understand requirements and evaluate test-stage data. Create standards, documentation, and best practices for DevOps, cloud operations, and data workflows. Mentor junior engineers and guide them in adopting DevOps tooling, automation, and cloud practices. Education & Experience Required Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics, Data Science, Analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years working with AWS tools such as EC2, S3, EBS, Route 53, VPC, and Elastic IP. Experience with cloud infrastructure automation and provisioning. Scripting skills (Python, Ruby, Shell) for monitoring and automation. Experience with structured and unstructured data and basic SQL proficiency. Exposure to modern data and analytics architecture (big data, cloud platforms). Familiarity with advanced analytics tools (Python, R) and data processing concepts. Preferred Experience mentoring or leading technical team members. Background working in DevOps, CI/CD, or full-stack engineering environments. Prior experience designing or optimizing enterprise-level data pipelines. The AIS Product and Compliance Specialist will perform suitability reviews of new business transactions and maintain compliance with regulatory standards. They will also manage product information updates and serve as the central contact for strategic partners regarding product changes. | A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting is required, along with a Series 7 License by the start date. Job Accountabilities • Analyze and conduct suitability review of new business and other transaction of the broker/dealer requiring review and approval from a licensed General Securities Principal. Ensure proper documentation exists and the investment is suitability for the customer. Diplomatically enforce rules, regulations, and compliance via direct communication with and/or formal memorandums to sales management and/or Registered Representatives to achieve compliance and proper sale practice. Create and maintain accurate and updated procedures for the principal review process. Perform regular testing of written procedures to ensure full compliance. • Serve as the central contact for each of our strategic partners for product and interest rate changes. Update the rate sheets and other product information on the intranet to ensure accurate information communicated to the sales team. • Assist with development and maintenance of Operations and Registered Representative procedures as necessary. Review and maintain AIS intranet sites and procedures to ensure procedures are current with practices by consulting associates in Operations, Compliance, and/or Sales. • Maintain a high level of knowledge of the products offered by AIS by working with the strategic partners and analyzing product sales materials, broker-dealer only materials and product prospectus. This knowledge is required to be effective when conducting principal review. • Manage and maintain procedures for the signature guarantee program for AIS. Ensure each representative has completed the required training before issuing a signature stamp. Conduct an annual inventory of all issued stamps to ensure each is stamp's location is known. Work with signature guarantee vendor to address questions and concerns. • Assist projects impacting Operations, new product implementation, and principal review functions including testing changes, and updating impacted procedures or creating new procedures.
