We’re building the AI operating-system for the biopharma companies of the future where humans and AIs work alongside one another to handle complex research, writing, and coordination workflows. We’re honored to enable the next generation of scientists and pharma companies to bring life saving therapies to market faster and more efficiently. This role is right for you if you’re excited by the cutting edge product challenges that modern AI systems have surfaced. AI systems of the future will look and feel inherently different than previous software systems, and this role will shape AI agents and products in Life Sciences. We value kindness, intensity, direct communication, intellectual honesty, and grit. Join us if you want to be productive, ship, and help build Argon AI. Work closely with the rest of the team to deeply understand workflows, develop user-journeys, and build an intuition around user problems and hypotheses for solving those needs. Think deeply about the future of human and AI interaction and how AI will behave and feel in professional settings. Build on top of the Argon platform using TypeScript, React component libraries, and a AI-native backend to bring designs and product vision to life. Iterate quickly on frontend and create tight iteration loops by collecting signals on what is working and what isn’t across the product. Conduct thorough code reviews, raise the quality bar, and establish taste/standards/best practices across testing, style, and documentation. Mentor junior engineers, pair program, run design walkthroughs, and help others level up. About you Have 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including leading projects from design to production. Fullstack experience. You are familiar with our stack (React, TypeScript, NodeJS, PostgreSQL and Python) Have designed and operated distributed systems with asynchronous workflows, concurrency, and eventual consistency. Are fluent with Kubernetes and AWS primitives (SQS/SNS, S3, IAM, VPC). Care deeply about code quality, maintainability, and developer ergonomics; you set standards and hold the line through code reviews and tooling. Have product instincts and empathy for users; you balance shipping fast with building the right abstractions. You’ll go deep on understanding our users, their workflows, and pain points and work to translate your insights into product designs. Your ultimate goal will be to push for clarity, consistency, and quality in every corner of the product. Your taste and ideas will contribute largely to Argon’s next phase of growth. Lead product feedback sessions with our current customers and users. Document feedback and trends meticulously and disseminate insights to drive alignment across the team. Manage external designers to distill ambiguous problems into concrete, high-quality product experiences. You are biased towards user experience and have high user-empathy levels. You are meticulous with documentation, tracking details, and can set pace and a culture-of-excellence for the team. Curious and creative, but practical in execution. You are comfortable exploring large problem and solution spaces but can distill complexity into practical solutions. AI Native. The practice of Product Management is primed for change with AI at its core. You’re excited about building a PM function leveraging new tools and LLMs to distill user insights, vibe code prototypes, and get creative. Strong product fundamentals. You understand product management frameworks and common product patterns. Analytical. You take an analytical and data driven approach to understanding product and user behavior when data is available. Design chops is a big plus. If you are comfortable with Figma or other design tools and can mock up your ideas to help speed up iteration then that would be a big help!
