Manage existing accounts and develop new business opportunities in automation and control technologies. | Senior engineering professional with extensive experience in automation sales, technical solutions, and customer engagement, but lacking specific chemical or automotive industry experience. | Technical Sales and Business Development Manager The Technical Sales and Business Development Manager identifies and develops sales growth opportunities within the framework of Arclin’s goals and objectives for chemical dispersions, homogenizing agents and process aids and supports broader business development initiatives. Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities include the following; however, other duties may be assigned. Manage existing accounts and incubate new commercial opportunities. Engages in Customer Lead Generation: • Defines market opportunities that align with Arclin production capabilities and objectives. • Identify and contact potential customers to define needs and interests and determine how the needs can be met with existing or new products. • Collaborates with colleagues to elucidate opportunities and develop account strategies required to generate growth. • Attends appropriate trade shows and conferences to promote Arclin products. Manages new and existing client accounts: • Maintains and further develops assigned accounts to extract new business opportunities, identify technology needs and to align with client priorities. • Manages internal relationships to achieve sales growth objectives. • Collaborates with colleagues to exchange information such as selling strategies, client history, etc. • Negotiates prices, credit terms and other specifications in alignment with Arclin guidelines. • Serves as primary technical support to clients, consulting with internal departments related to client needs and ideas. • Provides feedback to product design team in order to tailor products to specific needs of client and differentiate as appropriate. • Facilitates new product/business launch activities with customers. • Prepares annual sales projections by client, as required by management. Supervisory Responsibilities: None Qualifications: To successfully perform this job, an individual must be able to perform each key responsibility in a satisfactory manner through individual effort or effective and appropriate collaboration. Additionally, the well-qualified candidate will have the following education and experience. Essential Qualifications and Skills: • Bachelor’s degree in business or technical field is required. • A minimum of 8 years experience in technical sales, procurement, product development, product management, engineering or chemistry, is preferred. • Experience in tire, automotive or chemical industry is preferred. • Demonstrated knowledge of managing raw material approvals for tire and automotive manufacturers is preferred. Work Environment: Travel as needed in USA, Canada and Mexico to develop relationships and credibility with clients facilitating achievement of business growth objectives.

Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field (e.g., Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science) or Business; advanced degree (MBA) preferred. • 7+ years of experience in innovation, product development, or strategic planning—ideally within chemicals, materials, or related industries. • 5 years of experience in a Project Management role with a proven track record leading cross-functional initiatives from concept to commercialization. • Strong analytical skills, market sizing, and value-in-use analysis. • Comfortable navigating ambiguity with a focus on progress and continuous learning. • Exceptional communication skills; able to influence and align diverse teams without formal authority. • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and collaboration tools (e.g., Teams, Planner,); familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) a plus. • Strategic thinker with a bias for execution, resilience, and a passion for innovation-driven impact.
